    Sound and lighting issues

by TT on 4/5/22River City Casino & Hotel - St Louis

While the performance was good, the feedback from the microphone and lights randomly flashing the crowd made the concert a bust for us.

Mickey Gilley Urban Cowboy Show in St. Louis MO.

by Gail on 4/5/22River City Casino & Hotel - St Louis

Mickey Gilley was absolutely awesome! Sounded just like back in the day. The acoustics however were terrible. You could hear both Mickey and Johnny Lee singing but not well. When Johnny Lee spoke you could not understand a word he was saying. The Event Center at The River City Casino definitely needs improvement with the acoustic system.

    Absolutely a great show!

by ajd520d on 4/4/22River City Casino & Hotel - St Louis

If you have the opportunity to see Mickey Gilley, DO IT! for an 86 year old man to put on a show as great as this is, It's definitely worth your time and effort to go. His voice is as strong as it ever was and he was a true pleasure to listen to. I'd go again and not think twice about it!

Have gone once but will not go again.

by Liz on 11/16/21Ameristar Casino and Hotel - Kansas City

The Urban Cowboys are too old to be giving a concert. They couldn't even stand for the concert. They need to retire. They both had to sit down the whole time. The casino needs to improve its sound system. All the sound for this concert was just coming from the front speakers. I couldn't hear Johnny Lee talk at all. The Concert was very boring, was not worth the money.

    Great show,

by Hillbilly on 11/16/21Ameristar Casino and Hotel - Kansas City

Not a bad seat in the house. Seating is a little tight. Small venues are great. Not many restaurants or night clubs at the casino. After the show if one wants to stop for a bit or a couple of drinks. Everyones closing down and letting you know therenot going to. Be open. This on a Saturday night. Great show id see a show there again. Id go elsewhere for a post bite or drink. This at the Amairstar Casino

    The show

by Murphy on 11/16/21Ameristar Casino and Hotel - Kansas City

Show was great but I feel like they didn’t perform as long as they did the last time I seen the urban cowboy reunion tour! Last time they both came out together at the end and sang! I understand there older abs all! I’d go back if they returned!

I had never been to Ameristar for a concert, it was a great

by Melissa on 11/16/21Ameristar Casino and Hotel - Kansas City

I bought my tickets back in July/Aug, it was going to be a birthday gift to myself bc the original concert date was my bday. Aug 27th. Since it had to be rescheduled to Nov 13th I didn't get to use all 6 tickets bc 2 of the people who were going had covid. Overall, it was a great concert!! I'd go back to Ameristar for another event, there was plenty of space and great atmosphere.

    Good

by DeVonna on 9/28/21L'Auberge Casino & Hotel Baton Rouge - Baton Rouge

I have seen these two in concert multiple times. Not sure what is going on with Johnny Lee, but he sounded sluggish. Did not sing loud, Mumbling a lot of the songs. Mickey Gilley was good as always. Enjoyed his part of the show tremendously.
