    Highlight your musicians.

by Douglas on 10/19/23Jimmy’s Jazz and Blues Club - Portsmouth

I enjoyed the show. The guitar player was talented and was allowed to perform solos. I think it is only fair to highlight the other musicians as well. They have put in many hours of practice over the years to hone their talents. Give them a chance to perform solos as well.

    Saxman with true soul

by Loscroce on 10/14/23Jimmy’s Jazz and Blues Club - Portsmouth

Have seen Mr Lington numerous times over the years both solo and with others. His show was spectacular as usual. If you love his albums, your only getting part of the picture. You must see him live. He is one of those lively engaging stage performers that has the It factor. His interactions with the other players as well as the audience are a joy to experience. Can’t wait for his next live performance.

by LadyT on 4/17/23Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - Cincinnati

I have waited three years for this concert It was wel worth the wait. Michael and Paul Taylor were both great. The only bad part about the concert is... It was not long enough!! I could listen to them all night. Can't wait for next concert.

Both were great. The sound was great.

by Steve on 4/17/23Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - Cincinnati

Arrived and met with a full bar. One lady worked to find us seats. Went downstairs and found the venue interesting. I am glad no one was sitting in front of me. Just incredible these guy honored their commitment from three years ago. ML is incredible. PT was great. Next time, start the concert on time. 15 minutes late is unacceptable to those who value punctuality.

    Worth the three year wait!

    by PHarrison on 4/17/23

This show had been postponed since 2020. Glad it happened and didn't cancel. I'd seen Michael play many times but this was my first for Paul Taylor. Both sax players were excellent but Michael was simply amazing. I enjoyed their band as well. It was also my first time at the Ludlow Garage. It's a historic old building with a unique layout for live music, but it works. It's comfortable and intimate. So glad I got to see this show there. Hope Michael comes back soon and I'll be back for other shows I'd like to see at this venue.

    Fun Time

by Jazzfan on 4/17/23Ludlow Garage Cincinnati - Cincinnati

The Michael Lington/Paul Taylor concert was a fun time. The concert was nowhere near a sell out, but those who missed it lost out on a great time. Everyone showed Michael and Paul a lot of love and we were rewarded with a high energy concert by two very talented sax players. The band was also very good. I am so glad that Ludlow Garage is booking so many great jazz artists. I hope Michael and Paul return to Cincinnati.
