    Three in One

by Alicia on 10/25/23Aventura Arts & Cultural Center - Aventura

It is almost impossible to hear three concertos in one presentation. But we had the chance last Sunday October 22nd. The pianists were gifted and passionate. The orchestra and the piano sustained a beautiful musical dialogue. I enjoyed it and look forward to next year’ presentation.

    Fantastic afternoon!

by HellenS on 10/25/23Aventura Arts & Cultural Center - Aventura

It was an amazing performance by three outstanding pianists accompanied by a truly professional orchestra. Our greatest round of applause for the organizers of the Miami Piano Festival, great job all around!

    Absolutely terrific

by Lana on 10/25/23Aventura Arts & Cultural Center - Aventura

Enjoyed every minute of every performance! All three soloists were terrific! Wonderful to see old and new talent in a smaller, more intimate venue. Would definitely go again!

Not the best one of the series

    by E. S. on 5/3/23Aventura Arts & Cultural Center - Aventura

The biggest question I had for the first half of the concert by Florian Noack was "why?" Why turn a joyous and colorful Bach Brandenburg concerto into an overly fast and uninspiring solo piano piece? He also missed a lot of notes! And Rimsky-Korsakov's Shaharazade, a work that masterfully uses the orchestral palette, was reduced to something a lot less interesting, though a much better effort than the Bach. However, in the second half he totally redeemed himself by brilliantly performing Liszt/Lyapunov etudes. All in all, it was a mixed bag of a performance, IMHO.

    Lackluster piano recital

by Espoc on 1/13/23Aventura Arts & Cultural Center - Aventura

Julien Libeer was not in good form - missed notes quite a few times. A clinical and rather dispassionate pianist. One of the less memorable concert in this series

    What a treat!

by GeneS on 10/26/22Aventura Arts & Cultural Center - Aventura

Three concerti performed by three master pianists, supported by an orchestra specially created for this purpose, conducted by Maestro Hobart Earle - what is there not to like? Add to that a gorgeous hall with excellent acoustics and free parking

    Wonderful program but...

by Jackie H on 10/26/22Aventura Arts & Cultural Center - Aventura

We loved the scholar's introduction of each piece. And the soloists were each a pleasure to listen to. But there is a lot of room for improvement concerning the orchestra. Though we liked the director, we felt that the small number of musicians for a symphonic orchestra gave a poor background. We felt that a larger orchestra would have done better justice for the beautiful program.

    Great Venue / Awesome Pianist

by Christine on 3/23/22Aventura Arts & Cultural Center - Aventura

The Aventura Arts & Cultural Center is a beautiful venue. I sat towards the back up one level from the floor in row N, Seats 101 & 102 and the view of the stage was fantastic. I also liked that they showed the pianists hands on a large screen on the back of the stage. The pianist was AWESOME - very beautiful. I also enjoyed being right on Biscayne Bay and being able to order a glass of wine before the show and during intermission. Was a really lovely event!!

Amazing music with an amazing artist

by Zinlev on 1/17/22Aventura Arts & Cultural Center - Aventura

When a musician continues to play multiple encores without hesitation you can only be thankful and in total respect for his mastery to do so.
