The story of the true Messiah must be told in full. THANK YOU for performing the entire score of this masterpiece. Exquisitely played by all musicians, the choir, and bravo to the soloists! And the Saenger is a storybook setting with excellent acoustics.
This was a great performance, it was the first time hearing the complete set.
We travel a great deal and like to take in local performances as well as those on big stages. We have seen Messiah many times and it is our Christmas 'go to' to get in the holiday spirit. The picture used for promotion (above) depicting what was being sold was far different than what was presented and very misleading. The orchestra and conductor were great, the choir, not so much, the facility even less. The singing was hard to understand and seemed less than professional, community choir? As stated, the advertising was misleading and the costs way out of line with what was presented. We'll be more careful next time.
Beautiful music. The chorus and orchestra sounded amazing. The opera singers had crisp voices. However, with them, I felt like I was hearing the same song over and over. Maybe my ears aren't trained to appreciate the intense opera songs.
Fabulous performance, but singers should have been miked to overcome substandard acoustics brought on by painted brick wall at back of stage.
We had great seats for the Messiah; seven rows from stage and in the center. A great evening in preparation of Christmas. Saenger Theatre never disappoints.

Sunday's Messiah concert was wonderful. I think Tucson is losing a real treasure, George Hansen. You get a little music education along with the music.
Great performance at an excellent venue. Mr. George Hanson, the music director and conductor of the TSO, mentioned that the auditorium at Catalina Foothills High School is one of the best facilities for this type of ensemble available between Los Angeles and St. Louis. It was also a treat hearing the Brass Choir perform.
I was looking forward to this presentation all year long, I was very disappointing last year that it was cancelled. I hope we keep enjoining it every year this is the highlight of the Christmas season. Thank you for a great job, God Bless each person that is involved in this event.
