    Outstanding!

by Nevis on 11/22/10Sony Centre for the Performing Arts - Toronto

The costumes were fabulous, the dancing and choreography was absolutely outstanding! My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed the show. I was quite impressed that even the concession stand had an Indian flare to it.

The best stage production I have seen (and I've seen a few). Period. Wish I could buy the video.

Very entertaining, energetic show! Loaded with beautiful costumes, endless energy and at times comedy. I would recommend it for anyone who enjoys dance and watching people have fun, the dancer sure looked as though they were having a blast!!

    Awesome!

by ChristopheThePlummer on 11/13/10Sony Centre for the Performing Arts - Toronto

Great choreographies, awesome costumes, and perfect dancing. The show was a wonderful story of a Bollywood Choreographer in the 50s - 60s contrasted with his grand-daughter who aspires to leave her marks in modern Bollywood. The show is exquisite!

    Merchants not all that !!!

by Sarabjit on 11/8/10Sony Centre for the Performing Arts - Toronto

I thought the DANCERs and outfits were AMAZING..way to go DANCERS !!... I would have loved some original numbers and the Sony Theatre has no surrond sound and the music wasn't loud enough....the timeline was not in any order and to much flipflopping back and forth... Overall message was good !!

The dance is very but... 1) Too much talking between performance 2) I am not guay and have nothing against them (we have friends that are Guay) but we didn't find the extravagance of the character (MC) funny at all. 3) This was my first time at the Sony centre and I was surprised to see that there are no suround sound. The music comes from the front only so you lose the feeling especially when the music and performance are good (e.g.; the ending)

A feast for the eyes and ears!

by DesiLady on 10/31/10Caesars Atlantic City - Atlantic City

I booked tickets on a whim and had no idea what to expect. I'm happy to report that it was a truly amazing experience. Vaibhavi Merchant and the entire crew envisioned and carried out an amazing, unique extravaganza. As a dance and broadway afficianado, I was particularly impressed by the threading of a beautiful story with dances that embraced so many different forms - from traditional indian to contemporary. And talk about energy! This is a must-see for all and I hope this is the first of many in Vaibhavi's plans.
