    Enjoyed every minute of Joe!!

    by JoeArmyFan1 on 6/4/13Reliant Arena - Houston

Even though Joe wasn't the headliner - his was the best set. I loved After 7 and En Vogue was a wonderful surprise. I don't understand why the "Heads of State" were the headliners since none of them have any new music out or coming out. All in all with the exception of a few mic problems we had a great time. The sound system was great (except the mics kept malfunctioning). If I had it to do over I would go again and again. Since I am a serious Joe fan I enjoyed his set even though it was cut short.

Memorial Weekend Music Fest could have been better

by NYAC on 6/2/13Reliant Arena - Houston

I really was shocked this event wasn't sold out for a long weekend. I'm not from Houston but came into town from San Antonio just for this concert. After 7 was amazing. En Vogue only perform a few of their songs. Joe was the best artist by far but left the stage during his set because his mic wasn't working. By the time Heads of State took the stage, I couldn't hear them because the music was way too loud. The acoustics in this venue need to definitely upgraded.

    The Concert was AMAZING!!!!!

by MYvonne on 5/31/13Reliant Arena - Houston

This was the best concert EVER. Everything was on point. The singers really took us back to when music really meant something. After 7 was awesome and they haven't aged a bit. The choreography, suits, lyrics were perfect. En Vogue had it going on. They are still sexy and sound great. Joe was so cool, smooth, handsome, and so damn sexy, I can't wait until July 2. Bobby Brown, Johnny Gill, and Ralph Tresvant really amazed me at how wonderful they sounded. They were hilarious and Bobby Brown is a fool. I just wished we (Houston) could've had a better turnout. We owe it to ourselves to represent our city and support REAL music. I can't wait for the next one. I will definitely be there.

    JOE was the BEST

    by JOJOE2008 on 5/29/13Reliant Arena - Houston

JOE did HIS thing despite the sound system being messed up. HE came out singing "Where U At", "I Wanna Know" "Good Girls", HIS new song "i'D Rather Have a Love" along w/others. HIS voice is just so sweet, JOE is 1 of the best if the the greatest R & B singer I've heard.

    Great Experience!!!

    by Jailynne01 on 5/29/13Reilant Arena - Houstn

This show was exactly what the doctor ordered. My girls and I needed to get out so at the last minute we decided to attend. Bobby Brown is still a fool! Heads of State did a wonderful job, but JOE was the higlight of my night! That boy knows he can sing..LAWD!!!! After 7 did a great job as well (they're some very smooth brothers LOL) . The show started on time and ended around midnight. I wish they had a host or comedian to help out with the flow of the show to keep the crowd entertained between acts, even intermission. Overall, I can't wait for the next show! Hopefully we can get some D'Angelo, Erykah Badu, Xscape, Boyz II Men, Brian McKnight, Lauryn Hill, Maxwell, Toni Braxton, Monica, Tyrese, Usher, R. Kelly, Jon B, 112, or Avant!!!! (the list could go on and on)

the sound people were not very good with the mics for the singers. Joe's mic's keep going in and out and so did the head of states mics also. Johnny keep going to the sound guy about his mic,

    Find Sound Guy Another Job

    by Trina229 on 5/29/13Reliant Arena - Houston

Facility was ok. Nothing special about the surroundings. Floor seats in section A so we were considerably close to the stage. All acts were good but the sound was WAY to loud and the artist were obviously having problems with the microphone. At the end of Joe's set, he couldn't finish his last song because "ya'll killing me with this mic", and he said good bye to the crowd and left the stage just a few lines into his song. EnVoge was not the three ladies advertised. Instead, we got two original members and a new member who was obviously suppose to be replacement for Maxine and Dawn. Their set was pretty good. H.O.S. were good but like every other act, the music was WAY to loud. We actually left into Johnny Gill's first song. My hearing in my left ear was diminished until Monday afternoon.

    Memorial weekend festival

by Peeples on 5/28/13Reliant Arena - Houston

Event was amazing. Great artist. Sound system was a mess. Could not tell from the beginning what artist was singing till they got into the song. Joe actually did not perform his last song due to sound issues. Need a better sound system.
