    Excellent

by Canoli di Gaetano on 7/4/23

Beautiful concert. Melody swans around the stage and pierces your soul with her beautiful voice. Her band is top notch. Such a great night.

    Not enough Melody!

    by Mick on 7/1/23

I came to see Melody but saw more of her band than her. Very disappointed. At 915pm she said “Now, as the evening draws to a close…” What?!

    Melody Gardot is amazing

by Candice on 6/28/23Warner Theatre - Washington

The show was lively, entertaining, romantic, and thoroughly enjoyable! Melody is a wonderful storyteller as to how she creates songs and collaborations with other performers in her show. Want to see her again!

    N'est pas Magnifique

by Ms. M on 6/27/23Warner Theatre - Washington

Good but not nearly as lively as a previous DC concert at the Birchmere. Very talented musicians but perhaps a bit tired at the end of a tour? I know musicians always want to experiment but I only heard 2 of the well-known songs in the entire concert. Sometimes you just have to give more.

    Incredible performer

by Momma Dawna on 6/27/23Warner Theatre - Washington

So many things done right I don’t know where to begin. Melody is the consummate professional and gives a wonderful live performance experience. Her voice, her presence, her warmth plus her genuine appreciation for her whole partnership with the artists she shared the stage with was simply sublime. Everyone was incredibly talented and showed a real affinity for one another. It was a lovely evening! I would love to see her again. Truth is, her sound engineers were so skilled it was often hard to tell this was live because so often artists depend upon post production value to make their album perfect-? But she was mixed beautifully and it was always gorgeous.

    Great artist...air of diva

by Seriously? on 6/27/23Warner Theatre - Washington

The Melody Gardot concert should have started at 8pm. Instead: 8pm: Katia (?), not Melody Gardot, showed up on the stage. 30 minutes of concert by a singer who needs more hours of practice, or learn how to loose fear of performing in public or anything that helps her to deliver. 9pm (= 1 hour later than scheduled), Melody Gardot showed up with her band. Great concert, outstanding band of artists. Melody left the stage a couple of times. Concert finished at 10:30pm and she came out twice after (thank you). Great artist but starting the concert 1 hour later is an unpolite gesture towards the public who are, at the end of the day, the ones who helped Melody to be on the stage and touring.

    A bit more…

by Pdr on 6/27/23Warner Theatre - Washington

She is flawless. A bit more would have been nice. Opening act was too long. Warner Theater lighting was too bright for her type of performance. She wasn’t a fan.

What do Melody, Anita Baker & Van Morrison have in common?

by JL on 6/27/23Warner Theatre - Washington

Melody was in great voice and, as always, the band was off the chart excellent. For this live performance, it appeared she has gone down the path of Anita Baker and Van Morrison, and possibly other performers, in that she is the lead vocal on but five maybe six songs. I'm a fan of all three artists as their music brings me joy. But the similarities in their live performance are striking - starting late, walking off stage while the band continues playing, fewer songs by the featured performer, etc. While I enjoyed the band and their respective talent, I attended to experience listening to Melody's vocal brilliance. The show was eerily similar to her most recent performance at the Birchmere, right down to her banter. Melody possesses a once in a lifetime voice. I, personally, would have enjoyed listening to her individually singing more than was performed. I felt it was rude to the vocalist who was the opening act as no one introduced her, or the gentleman who accompanied her on keyboard. Unlike Melody's opening act at the Birchmere, who Melody spoke glowingly about finding the her on TikTok, no reference was made to her opening act.

    Wonderful Experience

by ESant on 6/27/23Warner Theatre - Washington

This was a last minute decision to attend and my first ever time seeing a singer live. This was honestly an amazing experience and Melody Gardot and band had an extraordinary performance, with singing and comedy. This is something I will forever remember and cherish. Also special thanks to Debora B. at Warner Theatre for being wonderful and making this even more of a memorable experience

    Enjoyable concert

by lynne on 6/20/23The Vogel at Count Basie Center for the Arts - Red Bank

I enjoyed her event. I was unfamiliar with Melody Gardot and accompanied a friend who was excited that she was appearing at the Count Bassie theater. I immediately loved her voice and the band accompaniment. Phillipe Powell is a great pianist. The two together was great to see and hear.
