    A-Dub stole the show!

    Well, all of the bands put on a great show; however, Allstar Weekend really got the crowd going to end the night. Score 24 opened up the night. They're a local Long Island band and many girls were screaming for them! They have super catchy tunes and they did an interesting cover of Jesse McCartney's "Beautiful Soul." Next up was Meadowland. They come from New Jersey and they are heavily influenced by Paramore. They even did a cover. Action Item is also from Jersey and took the stage following Meadowland. They also wowed the crowd. Then the "favorite" locals took the stage; none other than, Stereo Skyline. They managed to get the crowd super pumped for Allstar Weekend. Let's just say, Allstar Weekend went out with a bang. Nathan from the band even played the keys last night to their song, "Amy." They also tosses in an acoustic version of "Here With You" for good measure. It was a night to remember. Anyone can listen to these bands; little girls all the way up to parents were dancing and singing along just having a blast!

    Well, not a fan of General Admission performances to begin with. There were way toooo many opening acts before ALLSTAR WEEKEND came on. Although the doors opened at 530pm, they didn't perform until 845pm......................

    All Star Weekend at the Crazy Donkey

    All the bands were great!! Each one made the kids who attended feel good and had them moving!! Having said that, the main attraction - AllStar Weekend was worth waiting for. I'm a mom and obviously this type of music is not my thing, but I have to admit I enjoyed it! It was my daughter's birthday and all she wanted was to see and possibly meet the guys in AllStar Weekend. Well, needless to say she had the most amazing time!! Her smile lasted.............well this morning it was still plastered on her face!! LOL After the show the guys did a meet and greet. They stayed till each and every kid was given a chance to meet them. Kudos to you guys!! You not only performed wonderfully but you really made your fans feel special and important. Don't lose that ability it will set you aside from the rest later on!!
