Growing up in central Texas, I had the chance to go to the old Baylor stadium a number of times and enjoy a game. I would often recall that when driving past McClane Stadium, which was obviously a MUCH, MUCH fancier setup than the old stadium. I mentioned to my wife more than once I wouldn't mind touring it, and so she decided that's what we'd do for my birthday this year.
For a mere $10, we got a tour for an hour or more. Our guide was a grad student that did a very professional and thorough job. We wandered through the whole facility including locker room, press room, recruiting rooms, president's suite, pressbox, and spent some time on the field where we could toss a ball or generally play around. He was willing and able to answer all questions, and we came away with a stronger appreciation for the stadium and the Baylor campus itself. I'm pretty sure we'll be back for a game.
If you're in the Waco area, I definitely recommend it.
