Took our grandson to the wellmont theater to see Max and Ruby. The tickets were a bit high-priced and the theater could use an update. The staff was helpful and welcoming. The show was pretty good but the intermission was too long and many children including ours lost interest. If you're looking to see the nutcracker for the season...look elsewhere.
Had a great time! The ballet dancers were excellent. My daughter is 7 just right for her to understand the story of the Nutcracker.

Show was nice for young children. The parking situation and area around the Tower Theatre is not very good. But the show was cool.
I wasn't expecting too much from this show, but we got it for our kids since they love Max & Ruby. The theater was perfect size and any seat would have been great to view it from. The set was super simple, but the dancers were actually amazing! Excellent night for us and the kids!
Max and Ruby was such a sweet show!! It really captured the holiday spirit for everyone that came out. We would definite purchase tickets next year. My 3 year old love the show!!
A good mix of Children's Max & Ruby along with the dancing from the Nutcracker. Was afraid it would be Max & Ruby doing the dancing (Oh-No) , but the dance team was well done and very elegant. Our 2 yr old grand-daughter was mesmerized by the Ballerina WELL DONE
This was one of the best kids shows we have seen! It had the music from the Nutcracker and real ballerinas! Two things I did NOT like: the intermission...it came only 30 minutes into the show and lasted 30 minutes...it was WAY too long and unnecessary...they could have gone straight through for an hour performance. Also, I misread the ticket and came an hour early because the doors open an hour early...why did the doors open an hour early?! That was my fault, but also annoying.
What a great show! My four year old daughter loved it , thought the ballet dancers were amazing and didnt want it to end. I enjoyed the high quality dancers- what a great way to expose your child to the arts. Would definitely recommend to a friend!
My grandchildren ages 4 and 1 year old(s) absolutely loved Max and Ruby. I had been to the Nutcracker Ballet in Chicago's "Arie Crown Theatre" several times with my own children which was very well done too, but Max and Ruby's spin on the Nutcracker performance really captivated not only my grandchildren but other children in the theater audience too!
