My kids have been watching the School House Rock Series on DVD for a while now, and they can't get enough. So seeing it live at the Marriott Lincolnshire was a no-brainer. The actors were great, they made it fun and engaging.
Very talented cast & lively performance. Our toddlers were overwhelmed with the number of school children there but once the performance began and it was quiet they were very interested in the music and dancing.
My husband and I brought our 6-year old to see Schoolhouse Rock Live, and while she had a great time, I think we had more fun than she did! They did all our old favorites and the energy and excitement that the actors protrayed was contagious. The Q & A afterward was really fun too.
My entire family had a great time! We laughed, listened to the super talent, watched the fun dancing and wiggled our butts ( in our seats recommended by the Schoolhouse teacher). It was a walk down memory lane for me as I watched these as a kid. It was GREAT to share with my children. The costumes, music, props, all staff are impressive and show was AFFORDABLE! This Marriott Children's theatre NEVER disappoints!!! Don't miss this one!!! Marriott please do more kids shows please!!
The performers were fabulous! Their voices and intonations matched the fun and distinguished sounds I remember. Plus, my kid loved it too!
This was perfect for both a 2nd and a 5th grader. They had seen the videos prior and were able to relate. It was truly entertaining AND educational.
It's the songs you remember come back to life! This high energy show kept my girls (7&4) attention and produced smiles, giggles, and outright laughs. Audience participation added to the appeal of this fast paced romp through language, math, and history. The actors fit their parts, sang them well and worked hard to engage the audience. All in all a very successful show, fun for the whole family!
We're sure we enjoyed the show more than our kids!
Very cute. Reminded me of the good ol' days. I think the parents enjoyed it more than the kids.
