    Marilyn Forever Blonde

by QwerkiRob on 10/27/15Fox Performing Arts Center - Riverside

Excellent production. Sunny brought Marilyn to life. It was facinating to watch the decline and fall of a legend. The production brought to light many details otherwise left out in the usual lurid bi-ops. It was truly as if Marilyn was on stage telling her story in her own words. There were a few times when timing seemed of, lagged or dragged, but overall, it was spot-on and a well spent evening of theatre.

    WOW!! Exception performance & show!

by DawgfanPlus1 on 3/22/15Power House Theater - Walla Walla

Sunny Thompson is absolutely incredible as Marilyn Monroe! Thank goodness her husband, Greg Thompson, had the foresight to bring this fabulous MM story to the stage for everyone to enjoy! We've seen this twice (a couple years apart), and would definitely see it again. Whether you're a MM fan or not, this is a "must see". We love live theater, and this is one of the best ever. Sunny puts all other MM renditions to shame. It's uncanny, how you really feel you're sharing two hours with the "real Marilyn"! Highly recommend!

FINALLY SOMETHING ON MONROE THAT'S DONE RIGHT! A++

by PlaybillLover1975 on 10/17/13El Portal Theatre - Hollywood

Look out Broadway! This show has EVERYTHING an audience wants. I forgot that I was watching an actress and I really thought I was spending time with the real Marilyn Monroe! She sings 17 songs, she dances, and more! The actress deserves a Tony Award, seriously! It is very intimate and very respectful of her memory. It makes you laugh, cry, think about life and makes you be glad to be alive. This is a show everyone whether you love MM or not should see. FINALLY something on Monroe that's done right! I really expected an impersonation show or another awful rendition of MM (like every movie about MM), but I was WRONG! It's an amazing trip to 1962 and I got to meet Marilyn! I felt like I was with her in her home (gorgeous stage by the way) and she is speaking right to me. If you don't see this then it's your loss! Go see this! Again and again!

    Sunny Thompson was unforgettable!

by BroadwayFan1977 on 5/14/13Indian Wells Theatre - Palm Springs

I finally got to see this in Feb.2013 and I literally felt like I got into a time machine and went into Marilyn Monroe's bedroom for 2 hours! I couldn't believe how good it was as I had my doubts after all the impersonator acts I've seen. This is a dramatic comedic musical one of a kind MUST SEE extravaganza! What is even more incredible is that it's all done by ONE WOMAN on stage the entire time! She even changes on stage while telling stories and everything is something Marilyn Monroe said in her life! You laugh you cry you pick your jaw up off the floor and end up at the end on your feet clapping and shouting! I can't wait to see this on BROADWAY on day where this gem of a play belongs! Thank you Sunny Thompson for giving me the gift of being with Marilyn! Even if you don't care for MM as an audience it's the best Theatre I've been to from start to finish! A MUST SEE TO BELIEVE! GO SEE THIS!

It was like spending the afternoon with the real Marilyn Monroe! Amazing stage. Amazing playwright. Amazing lighting. Amazing actress. This one woman show is so incredible I thought I was looking at the real Marilyn. I can't wait to see this show over and over again. A work of art. Perfection at it's finest. I recommend to anyone who loves great Theater. An experience not to be missed! It's like a decedant dessert. It's delicious and sticks to you!
