    ManRay reunion was phenomenal!

by VBWarriorPrincess on 5/25/16Paradise Rock Club - Boston

This was my first time at the PRC and my first exposure to ManRay. It was such an exceptional night! Great performances, terrific music (although *some* variation in the latter half of the night would've been appreciated), fabulous people-watching. HubbaHubba had some nice (albeit overpriced) merchandise. The sound & lighting were perfect, but the bar drinks were a little steep for my taste, and they didn't have any Seagram's Seven(?!!). I'd definitely go back for another event there. Nicely done!!

What a great night! DJ Chris Ewen played a great assortment of music and I danced all night. I'm sorry I missed the first one!

    Paradise At The Paradise

by RayGoshay on 2/11/13Brighton Music Hall - Boston

The night was stunning. As interesting and entertaining as the stage acts were, in the end ManRay is about the crowd and the music. We entertain each other - no hassles - just person-generated atmosphere to the max. It's beyond what most outsiders expect, hard to translate. DJ Chris Ewen & Co. gave us 6 straight hours of great music. Not once did I say, "Won't this song end". My friend who came with me had the same reaction to the music. As for the crowd and stage acts, he was ecstatic and a bit overwhelmed. this was his first time at anything Goth/Fetish oriented much less a full-throttle ManRay night. It's extremely fortunate that the venue was changed from the Brighton Music Hall. The acoustics and stage are much better at The Paradise. Also, there's the undeniable fact that the crowd of 750+ people is nearly twice as many as the BMH can hold.

    Manray Rises Again!

by Llorojo58 on 2/4/13Brighton Music Hall - Boston

I worked on and off at Manray for twenty years and saw all its incarnations from gay nightclub, to art bar, to goth- B&D Headquarters. The Reunion at Paradise Rock Club captured the very artistic and dark goth, third generation of Manray clientele. Very nice to see all the avant garde creatures of the night come out and congregate once again. Maybe the Reunion will blossom into a real night life scene with a permanent location somewhere in the Greater Boston area. God knows this town's nightclub scene needs a real shot of adrenalin. Maybe a new Manray is the cure.

Chris and Terri know how to throw a reunion!

by cwolf1188 on 2/3/13Brighton Music Hall - Boston

Absolutely amazing and the number of people who attended, which I believe was about 1,000 just goes to show that Man Ray has a huge following. I hope to see this club back in action at a new location soon. Chris Ewen spins the best and Terri makes everyone smile with her Red Death!
