I loved everything about this production. The small, intimate set was beautifully built, and exactly right for the story. Incredible musicianship and acting got right to the heart. Bravissimi!

    Wow!

by Sandy on 3/13/24Shelton Auditorium at Butler Arts Center - Indianapolis

The Southbank production of Man of La Mancha was outstanding. Using local talent, of which there was a great deal, for this musical demonstrated how a classic production could be made on a small stage. The Shelton Theater, a unique theater in the round, was used well by the actors and set designers. One could see and hear every action and word as the familiar and beloved sings were sung. I loved this production.

We really loved Man of La Mancha. The acting and singing absolutely could not have been better. Seating comfortable, sound perfect. One of the best shows we've seen and we frequently go to Broadway shows in NY!

    Wonderful perform

by Ardee Jagt on 11/13/23Yucaipa Performing Arts Center Indoor Theatre - Yucaipa

I went to see this play for many reasons. It was one of my parents favorite musicals and it had been years since I saw it. I brought a friend who was surprised to learn that the expression, tilting at windmills, and the song to dream the impossible dream. But I was most surprised about, was the quality of the voices and the acting. Very unexpectedly good. I will definitely return to the Yucaipa performing arts center in the future.

Great production and Davis Gaines was incredible!!

by Bumom10 on 5/10/17Valley Performing Arts Center - Northridge

At first, I was hesitant to see the show in the large venue at VPAC. I had seen the show previously at a smaller venue and really enjoyed it. I have to say that they did the show justice. The performance by Mr. Davis Gaines was worth the price of admission, and the rest of the cast nicely complimented. I highly recommend for theater productions that patrons don't sit right in the front orchestra. The best viewing AND sound is from further back in the house. The lower box seats were fantastic! The show is over now, or I would say go see it!! If you missed it at VPAC, it's going to La Mirada Performing Arts Center, starting on June 2.
