Skilled musicians...but hard to understand vocals.

These guys are not only amazing musicians but they are funny too. We enjoyed the show greatly.

The venue was great, seats were fantastic, and sound was incredible. The addition of video screen gave everyone a front row seat view of the concert. There as very easy accessible to the seats, the restrooms, and the bar, making it all the more enjoyable.

Aloha guys, for all who missed this event, it was great!

Makaha Sons was so good, it's hard to put in words. If you are from Hawaii, you can never get enough of that music. The stories and joking in between songs was like being at a friend's home and just hanging out. The Hula dancers were terrific and a definite unexpected bonus. Took friends not from the Hawaii, not knowing the language but they sincerely enjoyed the peaceful, relaxing atmosphere and had a lot of positive things to say. Mahalo nui loa for a great show. I would do it again in a heatbeat even w/driving an hour away (with no traffic)

We felt that the group performed well although I grew up in the era of MAKAHA SONS of NIIHAU. It was an enjoyable event.

Loved the show! The venue was o.k.but the show by these Hawaiian folks made everything better than great.

The Makaha Sons are living legends and provide not only a friendly and intimate relationship with their audiences and fan base, they offer some of the finest Hawaiian music ever!! Despite the tragic loss of Brother John Koko, the melodies and harmonies flowed as beautifully as a Kauai waterfall. It was also Brother Jerome Koko's birthday, so that even made the evening that much more special! Jerome's and Brother Moon Kawakahi's daughters danced hula with a male dancer (who's name escapes me, sadly), and they did a most wonderful job! All in all, the greater Seattle are has a very large Hawaiian contingency and they roundly support their island musicians...as well they should! MY wife and I are mainlanders who LOVE the islands and hope to retire there one day, and I am TOTALLY hooked on Hawaiian music, so if you, too, love Hawaiian music, the Makaha Sons share their Aloha Spirit with everyone and are not to be missed!!
