Main Street Boxing Tickets

I really enjoyed this event. I purchased my tickets on the spur of the moment, after receiving the e-mail. The first bout was with two 8 year old young males, and I have to tell you as a mother I was on the edge of my seat. These two young males had so much courage, and technique, and honestly I didn't want either of them to lose. The matches continued with young males and females with some bouts wanting me to throw a few punches myself, due to the adrenalin. In my head, I am saying "I could do this." I really enjoyed being there, and liked the overall mission of Main Street Boxing which is to encourage, engage, and allow young folks to have a safe place to learn boxing, but using boxing as a tool to instill self worth and confidence. Even though someone had to lose, there were no losers in my eyes. Each time a bout was done, one by one I watched even the person who had lost the bout respectfuly congratulate the other person. Great showmanship.
