    Riveting

by B on 2/13/23Clowes Memorial Hall - Indianapolis

I wasnt expecting such exuberance for a solid 45 minutes! I was just as enthralled as my kiddo. Ms Frizzle knocked it out of the park!

    Cute

by Jazzman on 2/13/23Clowes Memorial Hall - Indianapolis

The show was cute for very young audiences. It was hard to hear the actors on stage. Dont know if it was the music too loud or they talked so fast.

    Fun but short

by Anonymous on 2/13/23Clowes Memorial Hall - Indianapolis

The show was fun, but a little on the short side at under an hour in length. Based on the price point the production was good. Not a lot of effects and seemed like not a lot of support for the very small cast, but it was cute for the little ones.

    Magic School Bus at Clowes

by PL on 2/13/23Clowes Memorial Hall - Indianapolis

The venue and show were a great experience for the kids. One exception, the audio was less than satisfactory up in the highest balcony. Verbalization was impossible to understand. Needless to say, the kids “voted” thumbs up to return to another show in the future. Upon leaving, the balcony stairway was crowded with several preschool classes taking various group photos. Later, we found out that the doors behind us were accessible. But, since they were closed, we were not aware.

    Poor venue, cute play

by Nik3 on 2/13/23Clowes Memorial Hall - Indianapolis

We took our two young daughters to see the Magic School bus at Clowes Memorial Hall. Play itself was adorable, my kids really enjoyed it. However we have never seen a play at Butler and I can't imagine we will go back. The parking situation was really rough and it took us longer to get out of the parking garage (35 min) then our drive back home. Add to that I had a very limited number of boosters and one of my daughters couldn't actually see most of the play. The play itself was very enjoyable but due to all those problems we'll probably picture shows that that venue.

    grandaprent

    by D. S. on 2/13/23Clowes Memorial Hall - Indianapolis

I think the program was great. However not having a gift shop or concessions was disappointing for children. The vending machines were even off limits. I think that info should be shared prior to the program so children will not be disappointed and we can carry in a bottle of water.

Fun, Engaging, and Not Too Long

by Ryan on 2/13/23Clowes Memorial Hall - Indianapolis

Our kids were so excited to see the show and it did not disappoint. The cast was engaging, high-spirited, and fun. The songs were just the right length and the plot simple enough that our kids were not asking a million questions. The set was beautiful. The jokes were not potty jokes. The singing was good. The show was not too long; no intermission and started close to time. The best review came from our kids, who were sad when the show ended.

    Not age appropriate; boring

    by Anonymous on 2/10/23

I took my six year old to see The Magic Schoolbus as his first play. He almost fell asleep. It did not keep his interest. It should be recommended for 9+. Also, I could barely hear the actors/actresses on the microphones. The background music was too loud and overpowering. I wouldn’t recommend the show.

    Magic School Bus

by Anonymous on 2/24/12Clowes Memorial Hall - Indianapolis

This show is NOT a kindergarten level show. It went way over my 5 yr olds head and she was bored about half way through. Another lady whom I didn't know, without my saying anything, said the same thing. We wouldn't see it again and I wouldnt' recommend it for a 5 yr old, maybe not even first grader.

Magic School Bus = great child date night

by MemphisMother on 1/31/12The Orpheum Theatre Memphis - Memphis

This show was great. The length of the show was just long enough to get the message across and not have restless children in the audience. The visuals even kept the smaller children's attention. Because of the location of the show, my son and I turned it into our "little date night", by going to a nearby downtown restaruant for dinner. He say the lights and horse carriage rides, which was magical in itself for him.
