    Luke James Masquerade

by Rocking with the GOAT @ Indigoat - ATL on 1/1/21

This was a standing room only show. This dude was at my barbershop nearly a decade earlier & I was like, I needed to see how Hollywood he had become. Well, there was a little Mariah moment where we literally stood waiting for him past showtime. I know I had worked all day & this was definitely a loner concert because Friday after work in the ATL - you kinda want one or two extremes - on time, straight forward concert or on time - play/hear songs all night (but most Atlantans want to sit for those). Well, after the nearly one hour wait from the advertised time, the show started. There were no bells or whistles but pure soulful singing. I had only seen Luke James at a V-103 “wear all white” concert where he was a walk-on guest & he sang with Tank the year prior. Yet, on this night @ Masquerade, he seemed more in his element & it was a more intimate show the night he was at the Masquerade. I would have given him 5/5 if he had started on time or had an opening act.

    It was okay

by Let-Ley on 2/15/20House of Blues New Orleans presented by Cricket Wireless - New Orleans

His opening dj was good she kept the crowd engaged. Luke can sing like really sing I just felt his concert was self engaged.... I’m not really a fan of concert with just a dj, feels kinda lipsingish. He was singing but if he didn’t want to he didn’t have to because the song was playing anyways... I don’t have to see him again but he can sing.

    To NOT feel love/d

by Booker T on 2/12/20The Masquerade - Hell - Atlanta

A huge fan of Luke James, this was my 3rd concert I have attended of his. This was the worst concert I have ever attended which hurts. Venue stated 7 PM but there was zero indication if the show started at 7 or doors open at 7. He did not start performing until approximately a quarter til 9. There was no opening act. Luke performed for an hour, show was over and the lights were on by 9:45. He performed his most recent album (that feels more like an EP), and snippets of his previous work. It felt like... He honestly didn’t want to be there. Ironically... This was not the way to feel love/d.

    2 Hours Late

by Don on 2/10/20The Masquerade - Hell - Atlanta

The show was supposed to start at 7. There was no headliner. Just radio music playing for 2 hours straight. I assumed he showed up afterwards but at 9:15 I left the venue

    A FREAKING GEM!

by Chelle on 2/10/20The Masquerade - Hell - Atlanta

Luke James has one of THE best voices out here and is completely underrated! The show was intimate and I felt comfortable and so did he which is important. He interacted with the audience and has such a great personality. He’s got my coins anytime he comes to Atlanta. Go listen to that album!

    Short Concert

    by ... on 2/10/20The Masquerade - Hell - Atlanta

The venue let us in on time. However the artist came on late, he had no opener and still had to cut his set short. It would’ve been great to know that he was coming on late and was having to have a revised set Instead expecting a show and then it only lasting an hour.

    Terrible

by MARVI B on 2/10/20The Masquerade - Hell - Atlanta

My friends and I traveled from Cleveland Ohio to Atlanta Georgia to see Luke James. Doors opened at 7:00 pm. Luke did not have any opening acts and did not come on stage until 8:47. I’m not sure who was in charge of this event but I believe it was a waste of money and time.
