LUDACRIS IN CONCERT:
As far as sonic recognizability goes, few rappers can top the unmistakable timbre of Ludacris' signature drawl. Luda has been an ubiquitous presence in rap music ever since his 1998 on-record debut, and with "Party Girls," the first preview single from eighth album Ludaversal, climbing charts in early 2014, he's showing no signs of slowing. Luda treated audiences at his 2013 shows to marathon sets of his greatest hits, and with a new album hitting shelves in 2014, fans are sure to get some special treatment on his upcoming tour dates.
BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:
Born Christopher Brian Bridges in Illinois, Ludacris moved to Atlanta at age nine. After a stint as a radio DJ on Atlanta's legendary Hot 97.5, he scored his first mainstream exposure on the track "Phat Rabbit," a collaboration with Timbaland from the famed producer's 1998 album Tim's Bio: Life from da Basement. Ludacris built on this success with his 2000 debut album Back for the First Time, which contained several huge singles, and in 2003 he topped the Billboard 200 with third album Chicken-n-Beer. His next two albums would also top the chart, spawning classic No. 1's "Stand Up" and "Money Maker" and establishing him as one of rap's biggest players. With seven Top 5 albums under his belt and eighth album Ludaverse due out in 2014, anticipation for Luda's upcoming tour dates is at fever pitch.
FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:
"I would see Ludacris again in a heartbeat. He is as good live as he is on every single one of his albums. He's funny, he's clever, he's entertaining and he's downright sexy."
"...Ludacris came up, and I was absolutely floored. A wonderful combination of his old number one hits and his new ones made me fall in love all over again with his artistry. He was very charismatic and able to keep the crowd going."
"Luda was awesome!!! I have never had that much fun at a concert ever. Luda is a pure entertainer!!!! Great selection!"

11/10 performance!! I will absolutely go see Ludacris perform live 10 more times. My only complaint is that the show was too short— would have loved a 1.5-2 hr performance. I think it was originally supposed to be 1.5 hrs but the show started 20 mins late. If you’re a Ludacris fan and you haven’t seen him live yet, add it to your bucket list in the next 3 years because you’re seriously missing out!
This was an awesome concert. Ludacris was great and played some great songs. I would recommend his concert to everyone.
Luda was great for the most part. Loved that he did lots of his features from other people's stuff, rather than just his own songs. But it was SO SHORT. Like only an hour!! Super disappointed, especially for the price of the ticket. I would really have only given this 3.5 stars if I could have.
Amazing show put on by the fantastic Ludacris!!!!!!
Luda was awesome and the venue was great. It was my first show at EQC and it was impressive.
Saw him open up for Janet concert . Excellent performer ! He literally made that show . Had arena on their feet def want to see him at a venue again !
Ludacris was dope better then his superbowl halftime performance
I love ludacris and the concert was fun. It was all standing room at the filmore FYI. Only complaint is that the bar was placed in a manor that if you did not buy a drink before finding your place to watch the show it was impossible to get back to the bar area once the doors were open pretty much.
Lots of real good but sad love songs is what he showed us.
