what a lineup! that show was one of the most incredible shows of the hundreds i've seen over the years! i had goose bumps on my arms most of the time and the crowd was incredible. the average age of the crowd was probably late 40s which was great to see because i am usually one of the older people at the shows i go to these days

by lovethatmusic319 on 10/10/12IZOD Center - East RutherfordWhat a fantastic opportunity to see so many great artists celebrate the music of Levon Helm and the Band. The vibe was good, the collaborations were interesting and almost all of them worked. Roger Waters with My Morning Jacket, Joe Walsh with Robert Randolph, Joan Osborne with anyone!

by Nancy6862 on 10/9/12IZOD Center - East RutherfordUtmost joy with each new artist arriving on stage! No ego's no mishaps, just a night of Love For Levon! Listening and Singing along, I cannot remember an evening like this! This long awaited event was perfect in every way but one. While the Love for Levon was so apparent, his loss was even more so!
Rating: 3 out of 5by LiveAlways on 10/9/12IZOD Center - East Rutherford Very solid show, but was disapointed it was so structured. Was hoping for more of impromptu jam sessions.

Rating: 5 out of 5 Lots of Love for Levon
by SweetMidnightBlue on 10/9/12IZOD Center - East RutherfordFrom the onset until the end Couldn't say enough about the Love that was felt. Ken Dashow Q104.3's DJ started the introductions and they kept on coming through the night as many artists paid homage. Warren Haynes started us off with the Shape I'm in and then invited Greg Allman up for another. Song after song through the night was memorable and gave me new found appreciation of some artists I had rarely heard before. Roger Waters & Amy Helm's haunting version of Wide River to Cross to end the show before the whole cast of musicians came out for an excellent version of the Weight. A sight to be seen not only heard. There were so many memorable moments from this concert. The Party could of definitely continued as everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves from the musicians to the fans. Hope they get this one out on CD/DVD.
