WISH YOU HAD A TEN STARS GREAT PEOPLE GREAT CITY GREAT FOOD EASY PARKING
This past weekend, my husband and I had the honor of attending the Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns vs. Siena Women's Basketball Championship game at Earl K. Long Gym in Lafayette, LA. While this gym is not a state-of-the-art facility, it provided an intimate atmosphere where we could enjoy a national championship game. We too often forget that college women's basketball does not get the same focus as men's basketball. This was our opportunity to watch a Cinderella team of gutsy women fight tooth-and-nail through the very end. The game was so close that no one in the stadium felt comfortable until the buzzer ticked down to zero. Kudos to our Ragin' Cajun Women's Basketball Team, to the University of Louisiana staff, and to the fans who made this a once-in-a-lifetime experience that we will never forget!!
GREAT PLACE TO HAVE TOURNAMENT GREAT PEOPLE GREAT FOOD AWESOME CITY A LOT TO DO THERE
To have a collegiate woman basketball game in a gym that was so run down was deplorable. How the tournament directors would book a place like that was inexcusable! One side for all fans to sit on cement bleachers, two stall bathrooms for women and the same for men. If the WBI wants to further its fan base they need to check out the arena before hosting a game of that stature. Just inexcusable, really laughable!
awesome great people to host tournament great Cajuns easy parking beautiful campus area
