    Audience was a bit rude

by TONY on 10/14/23UTEP Magoffin Auditorium - El Paso

Great educational and fun topic. Some audience members were rude and interrupted the performers. Next time the Magoffin/UTEP theatre present a performance a representative should ask the audience to refrain from cell phone usage/video/photo taking and to be courteous to the performers and not interrupt them.

Website stated doors open at 7 and show at 8. Show actually started later than 8pm. Did not appreciate the unpunctuality.

Great Show - Not great venue

by Carito on 9/26/23Arena Theatre - Houston

The show was awesome. Lucia Mendez, Lorena Herrera and Roxana Castellanos were amazing, great actresses, very approachable and total legends. I loved them and their interpretation of the Vagina Monologue. The only star I am taking away is due to the venue of choice. Sound was not great, there were too many technical issues that took away from the performance. Also The venue had only cash policy to pay for parking, drinks and food this should have been communicated to patrons ahead of time. Also due to the sound not being good enough I could even hear the popcorn popping on the background which was very distracting.

    Reading script

by Angelica Rueda on 9/25/23Arena Theatre - Houston

The theater was good but concessions only accepted cash payment, which is not commonly used nowadays. The sound was not working properly at the beginning and it was not 100% fixed. On top of that, the actress were reading the script all the time!!!!! that is embarrassing!!!! I feel like I wanted my money.

    Over price

by Mina on 9/25/23Arena Theatre - Houston

The show was expensive, we wasn’t able to hear anything at the beginning, microphones didn’t work, I went to another show for the same show in another country and the actrices didn’t read in this one they read and I believe that makes less connection with the public.

    Nothing great

by Joanna on 9/12/23Fox Performing Arts Center - Riverside

This was the first play in Spanish I attended and I did not appreciate that they started an hour and a half late. They also had some audio issues during the play which was distracting. The play itself which was a little over an hour was okay.

    Others should attend

by Sencilla on 5/10/10Morris Dailey Auditorium SJSU - San Jose

The event started late, almost at 2:30pm. It was not well organized and I guess everyone was nervous. The sound was not good, the ladies would be speaking either too close or too far from the microphone (with a buzzing sound) and was unclear of what they were saying. I was sitting on 2nd raw so I can imagine the other audiences in the back could not hear a thing. The theme was interesting and presented a lot of good information. The older people were the best of all. Cheers and keep on going!
