About

LOS LONELY BOYS IN CONCERT:

Chicano rock favorites Los Lonely Boys are known for their signature "Texican Rock n' Roll," a unique style that combines rock, Texas blues, and Tejano. Approaching two decades together, the Boys are nothing if not seasoned performers, and fans can expect to see a rip-roaring display of musicianship from the tireless trio at their live shows. With their eighth album hot off the presses, Los Lonely Boys will hit the stage hotter than a ball of Texas fire on their 2014 tour dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Comprised of Texan brothers Henry, Jojo, and Ringo Garza, Los Lonely Boys self-released several records in Nashville in the '90s before moving back to their home state with the hope of finding a more appreciative audience. The move proved fruitful — under the tutelage of Willie Nelson, the trio's self-titled third album peaked at No. 1 on Billboard's Heatseekers Albums Chart, going on to receive double platinum certification from the RIAA. Since then, they’ve become key players in the Texas music scene, releasing a string of successful records including the Grammy-winning hit single "Heaven" and Grammy-nominated songs "More than Love" and "Onda."

FANS WHO BOUGHT TICKETS SAY:

"The Garza Brothers put on another amazing show! I have seen them several times, and they are great every time. If you ever have a chance to see them live, I highly recommend it."

"Los Lonely Boys are amazing and we go to see them every time they are in the area. They play Texas Rock and Roll and can play their instruments with amazing ability! Their voices are great too with their harmonizing!"

"Absolutely amazing! These guys played their hearts out and rocked the place."

    Great concert experience

by TRod on 4/22/24Gila River Resorts & Casinos - Wild Horse Pass - Chandler

This is one of the better concerts I have seen in a while, Los Lonely Boys is a perfect group for this style of venue, and being up close and personal made it that much more special. I would have liked to have heard more of their original music and maybe less instrumentation. Either way this group is phenomenal and I look forward to being able to see them again.

    Texacan Rock and Roll...

by RobK on 4/22/24Gila River Resorts & Casinos - Wild Horse Pass - Chandler

Concert was at Wild Horse Pass Casino and Resort. Small arena but had good seating all the way around. We had second row, far right side of stage in front of the bass player. Concert started about 15 minutes late and they played less than 2 hours. Should have played a couple more songs to get to the two hour mark. Sound was half way decent, but some of the words got washed out by the loud music. But, for the price of the tickets, it wasn't bad.

    great musicians, show-meh?

by T-Bone D on 4/22/24Gila River Resorts & Casinos - Wild Horse Pass - Chandler

We love Los Lonely boys music and have been fans for 20 years. We own just about their entire catalog. We've seen them live twice before. Great songs, great musicians! The Chandler, AZ show was kind of disappointing. They played what they wanted to play, not what the audience was hoping for. Obscure songs with long introductions and long solos. Not songs like Don't Walk Away and Seniorita. At one point JoJo talked for what seemed like 10 minutes straight. He actually said,'we don't know what we are going to play next'. The show didn't flow very well. They seemed to be 'winging it'. Ringo's drum solo was cool. The Casino is a good place to see a show. We are planning to see LL Boys again this summer. Hopefully, it will be a better show.

    Very good, not great

by rock n roll lover on 4/22/24Gila River Resorts & Casinos - Wild Horse Pass - Chandler

I have mixed reactions to the concert. On the positive side: great two and three part harmonies, Henry is a fantastic lead guitarist, JoJo plays a mean 6 string bass, the brothers have a great/fun time playing, they interact with the crowd, dance on stage and invite people to sing along. On the negative side: they didn't play many of their big hits such as Diamonds and Senorita and, many of their songs had very long guitar solos and jams. While many in the audience seemed to appreciate them, I found them to be wandering with little focus. For those songs, it was like being at a Greatful Dead concert with never ending songs. Overall, I would give them a B- (my wife was much more critical) and won't go to see them again.
