    It was an honor....

by brokensouls on 6/22/16Walt Disney Concert Hall - Los Angeles

It was an honor to be in the same room as Richard Sherman. For my first experience at the Walt Disney Concert Hall I couldn't have planned it any better. The hall was gorgeous and the employees were super nice. Not a bad seat in the house. I was quite surprised that there are so many musically inclined judges, lawyers and para legals. They did such a wonderful job.

    Delightful Evening

by DebbieLynneT on 6/21/16Walt Disney Concert Hall - Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Lawyers Philharmonic and Legal Voices gave a wonderful performance at the Walt Disney Music Hall. We loved the variety of music and the talent of the performers. The surprise conducting by Richard Sherman was a treat. Thanks to Gary Greene for his fine conducting and serving as the Founder of this fine music organization.

    Wonderful Disney music concert!

by Magabr on 6/21/16Walt Disney Concert Hall - Los Angeles

The venue is beautiful and the music was great. It was a tribute to the Sherman Brothers, and one of them conducted the last song. It was a very lively and fun concert for the whole family.

    SHERMAN BROTHERS' MUSIC IS AMAZING!

by SLTA on 6/21/16Walt Disney Concert Hall - Los Angeles

The highlight of the evening was at the end when the remaining Sherman Brother came out and led the orchestra. This was a once in a lifetime chance to see him. This event occurs once a year and I highly recommend. The orchestra as well as the musicians were all lawyers, judges, and from various other legal fields. The talent was unbeatable.

    Wonderful Tribute to Extraordinary Musicians

by Anonymous on 6/21/16Walt Disney Concert Hall - Los Angeles

I'm impressed with the musical talents of our legal community. The organization of this event was excellent. I'm ever so grateful to these extraordinary musicians that have lightened and brightened our lives with their compositions. Very appreciative of Gary Greene, LA Lawyers Philharmonic and Legal Voices for putting this event together. Love that "Rock and Roll" interlude!

    Quite disappointing

by ConcertGoer1234567 on 6/21/16Walt Disney Concert Hall - Los Angeles

I was very frustrated to discover that I had not read the event description properly when booking my tickets. I saw the words "Los Angeles Philharmonic" and "Walt Disney Concert Hall" and assumed I would be getting a tremendous show. I overlooked the word "lawyer" buried in the description, which meant that the philharmonic was actually a collective of lawyers doing this performance as a weird non-professional exhibition. Almost like a 'beer league' for amateur musicians. Quite strange. As a result I was let down from the get-go. Especially considering I spent $75/ticket. To make matters worse, the performers were very sloppy and made several very noticeable mistakes in their playing. Particularly the French horns and the percussion. Ouch. I mean no offense to the players who clearly were trying their best. Some played very well. Some moments were very nice. And of course it was nice to see Sherman in person. But as I was expecting a professional performance, it was disappointing. I'm very annoyed that this show was not more clearly described on the ticketmaster website.

    Not worth it.

by meow12345 on 6/21/16Walt Disney Concert Hall - Los Angeles

Music played by lawyers so the quality of sound was below average. Left during intermission.

    Had its moments

by OhWill on 6/21/16Walt Disney Concert Hall - Los Angeles

These are lawyers, not professional performers, which must be kept in mind. The music quality was not great, so expectations should be kept in check. The first chair violin was terrific, as were a couple of the vocalists. The first half could have benefitted from better music selection--more lively pieces to mask the shortcomings in the orchestra. Overall, though, a nice enough evening.

Rhapsody in Blue played by Helen B. Kim was fantastic! The orchestra was excellent as were the soloists. The chorus was very good.
