Loverboy opened...I didn't expect much from Mike Reno and I wasn't pleasantly surprised either. PAUL RODGERS STILL ROCKS AFTER ALL THESE YEARS! Really great show from all his Bad Company tunes to his days with FREE when he encored "Alright Now." LYNYRD SKYNYRD doesn't dissappoint! GREAT show, great set list and well executed performances by all.
One of my best concerts ever!!!! I would go again to the same concert tommorrow.......
This show was great. Lynyrd Skynyrd and Paul Rogers were both fantastic. I wasn't there early enough to catch Loverboy but the last couple songs sounded good from the parking lot. I would definitely see Skynyrd and Rogers again given the opportunity if the price is right, like it was this time. There were a lot of songs that I knew but wasn't aware that it was them who sung those songs.
WORST PLACE TO SEE A CONCERT RESTROOMS TOO FAR AWAY I HAD TO SHOW MY TICKET TO TWO USHERS EVERY TIME I WENT BACK TO MY SEAT TERRIBLE TRAFFIC FLOW BETWEEN A AND B SECTIONS MUSIC WAS GREAT BUT NEVER WANT TO GO THERE AGAIN
Awesome show!!!! The only thing that sucked was trying to get in the place! Totally missed Loverboy! But still was a great night!
Great show, Paul Rogers was awesome. Food stands should be open later.
Lynyrd Skynyrd always puts on an awesome show!!! Well worth going to see this band.
Plan well ahead for traffic, took us over 3 hours to go 86 miles and we ended up missing Loverboy completely. Construction immediately outside venue added an extra 20 minutes of just sitting. Paul Rodgers was excellent - his voice hasn't aged at all. Skynyrd was also great, although not knowing the new music is always a bit of a letdown. Took my 14 year old daughter who is very into Skynyrd right now (go figure) and she had a blast. An interesting crowd. A nice small venue, we were in row 21 and had a great view until drunken patrons decided to climb onto the chairs in front of us, which was completely ignored by security. Biggest con for me was the traffic and the barrage of cigarette smoke in our faces the entire night.
The show was absolutely awesome. That is the first time I have seen a show at Toyota Park and I cant wait to go back. Paul Rodgers was great. The whole night was unforgetable.
Loopfest was a blast! The bands rocked, and all the fans were really into the music. Thoroughly enjoyed the evening (once we finally got into the stadium).. The only bummer was getting to Toyota Park and the AWFUL parking lot situation. Dont' think I would travel there for another concert, especially on a Friday evening.
