About

Logan Henderson In Concert

Plenty of notable pop stars — including Justin Timberlake, Beyoncé, and Fergie — have flourished as solo artists after cutting their teeth performing with a group. That is the career template followed by Logan Henderson, a member of boy band Big Time Rush who also portrayed Logan Mitchell for four seasons on the popular Nickelodeon TV show of the same name.

In 2017, he launched his solo career with the single "Sleepwalker," a slick R&B-pop song that established Henderson as a pop auteur. Since then, the musician has issued the 2018 EP 'Echoes of Departure and the Endless Street of Dreams - Pt. 1,' which incorporates the trappings of modern pop compositions: exuberant synths, hip-hop-inspired spiralized beats, and retro-leaning programming. Vocally, Henderson's empathetic croon echoes Justin Timberlake, especially on the seductive synth-funk number "Speak of the Devil." The contemporary electro/R&B hybrids favored by Justin Bieber are also touchstones for Henderson.

Henderson was born in 1989 and grew up outside Dallas, Texas, in a small town called North Richland Hills (fittingly, his first notable acting gig came in 2008 on the Texas-set drama Friday Night Lights). At age 18, Henderson took a leap of faith and moved to Hollywood, where he eventually landed his Big Time Rush role.

That series, which followed the exploits of an aspiring pop-rock group, spawned the real-life Big Time Rush. The quartet released three albums between 2010 and 2013, earning three U.S. pop chart hits: "Boyfriend," "Windows Down," and "Music Sounds Better With U." The group also won numerous Kids' Choice Awards around the globe.

Henderson contributed songwriting to Big Time Rush, which is one of the main reasons he's enjoyed a seamless transition to the mainstream pop world as a solo artist, especially live. Poised beyond his years, he mixes favorites from the band with his new solo work, singing in a soulful, emotional croon unadorned by effects. As Henderson takes to the road, no doubt he'll grow into an even more confident performer.

The best moments, Logan Henderson was great!!

by Danone98 on 6/4/18House of Blues San Diego - San Diego

Last Thursday I lost my voice and I was really sad about that. But my mother decided to go with me to the concert. Since I arrived at the place, a young man named Jorge was very kind, he helped me when I lost my tickets and he was patient with me, he even speak in Spanish with my mother. Once inside, the Henderson's family was very kind to me. It was fun. They did their best to understand me and I am very grateful for that. I met Savannah Outen (incredible voice, very talented), Dustin Belt (I still can not believe it) and Logan Henderson (a dream come true), my night could not be better. I am very grateful to meet nice and sincere people. I hope they come back soon. The concert was really great. Thanks to House of Blues, Ticketmaster, my mom and obviously to Logan Henderson for making this possible.

The concert was amazing. It was my first time at the HOB, so I didn’t know what to expect. I was very satisfied with the staff and the venue itself due to the intimacy aspect.
