    MAGICAL NIGHT

by schwinnilla on 4/24/16Bowery Ballroom - New York

the day prince died i had tickets to see/hear a show at the bowery ballroom...the event was beyond magical...the opening act "john mark nelson" was a singer/songwriter from minneapolis and he apologized to the crowd because whether we liked it or not he was going to pay homage to the royalty of his city...his band covered "purple rain" and the entire audience sang along...not bad for a bunch of scrawny white guys...it was the first time i saw the lead guitarist really smile...kudos to him because he did a spot on job for the guitar solo...i got goosebumps...the dj played prince's intro "dearly beloved" to introduce the band "little green cars"...they are from dublin...not very funky or prince-like, but a band i have come to love for their lyrics and harmony...stevie and faye sang their hearts out...the show ended with the band coming off the stage and singing their last song "the factory" with the crowd...i will never forget the day or night of april 21st, 2016...rest in peace prince...

Band still wasn't on at 10:15

by GPow87 on 4/24/16Bowery Ballroom - New York

This is only getting 3 stars because the opening act did a great job. I would recommend this if you don't have to get up for work during the week: which I'm guessing most of that crowd doesn't. We left at 10:15 because Little Green Cars still hadn't come on yet. it was a weekday night so that's pretty disappointing...

Little Green Cars put on a great show! The opening act, Vinyl Thief was also great and I ended up buying their EP afterwards.

    Such a cool band

by kbell22 on 9/29/13A and R Music Bar - Columbus

They were an awesome band. They played a full set and even came into the crowd on their very last song and played with people around them. The whole time they looked like they had fun at performing and were awesome. At the end if the show they even hung out had a couple drinks at the bar and took pictures with fans! I was so excited to get a couple pictures and when you would ask them they were so nice about it!! I would see them again for sure!!

    Little Green Cars was awesome!

by sarah17noel on 9/29/13A and R Music Bar - Columbus

Little Green cars was a amazing! They sounded even better live than they do on their recording. Their harmonies were amazing and, even though I didn't know a few of their songs, they made me want to go get their album right away. They were super friendly too. They hung out with all of us at the A&R music bar after the concert and took pictures!

LGC is hands down 1 of the best acts to see live!

by TCarlo on 4/19/13Troubadour - West Hollywood

Little Green Cars brings their energetic and gut wrenching lyrics to life on stage with a powerful show that will leave you saying, “That was an incredible show that I'll never forget!" From start to end they deliver beautiful melodies with rich harmonies. Yet, their songs have powerful lyrics. In their song, "The John Wayne," the band sings the lyrics with utmost passion, "It's easy to fall in love /It's easy to be alone / It's easy to hate yourself when all your love is inside someone else." Singer and guitarist Stevie Appleby, who composes most of the band’s songs, is a lyricist who deserves high recognition for his songwriting ability. At the same time, his stage presence displays someone who is spilling his soul to the audience in his lyrics. As is the case with "Harper Lee," "there’s a gun in the attic/ let me go grab it / I’d blow holes in my soul / just so you can look past it." Just as incredible is LGC's other lead singer, Faye O'Rourke. Faye, sang “Please” and “The Kitchen Floor”, which she both composed, with pure beauty and with a tad of sultriness. Her voice rivals that of Adele. The Little Green Cars ended their show with an unplugged version of “The Consequences of Not Sleeping” which they sang in the audience. I see Little Green Cars with a bright future. Don’t miss out!

Best 12 bucks I've ever spent!

    by LiveMusicLover41 on 3/25/13The Sinclair - Cambridge

This show was incredible. The opening bands were awesome, but didn't stay on stage too long. Little Green Cars blew me away with their soul fill passion for music. The lead singer recited a hilarious poem about their tour so far, LOVE IT! The Sinclair venue was one of favorites yet. Awesome show.

LGC was great but the first opening band The Ballroom Thieves really stole the show!
