Despite the weather - the two teams battled hard for the trophy. Having ESPN there also added to the excitement. Loved the energy of the two schools. Worth going
A very good game. Plenty of scoring an big plays. Gutsy call by WKU to go for it in the 4th qtr. Ford Field is a great venue.
Had a great time at the game with my children. Drove from Kentucky in the middle of a blizzard the whole way. Apparently Detroit doesn't plow snow. The roads were horrible, and I didn't see a single snow plow anywhere near Detroit. Come on guys, get it together. Besides that, the game was a blast, even though our team lost. The venue, Ford Field, was excellent. Very nice dome stadium. We had great seats at field level in the end zone. As to be expected, the food at the stadium was crazy expensive. I paid $41 for 4 pizza slices and 3 drinks. I expect that at these types of events though. The staff and police did a great job getting everyone out of the area when the game was over. I would recommend to a friend.
No one goes to watch a lopsided blow-out, and this game was close to the end. Good offense and defense by both squads. The travel to the game was awful in a snow storm and that likely made the crowd smaller.
I attend this bowl game every year and it never disappoints. Once again this was a great game at a great venue. I will be in attendance next year as well.
Having the presale for Lions season ticket holders was awesome. We sat in the end zone row one, never sat that close to the play. Had a great time, hope Ford field is in the rotation for BCS semifinals when that starts in a couple of years.
My family and I had a great time. Our seats were great and the price was very reasonable.
Game was good, stadium very good, referees stunk. lack of instant replay on big screen was unforgiveable
We have gone to the Little Caesars Pizza Bowl(Motor City) game now for 6 years now. We have taken a lot of people during those years and everyone loves the stadium. Wearing a T-shirt in December is great. The game was a lot of fun this year. I love it when they can get two local teams, because it packs the stadium. However, some years I know that that can not happen.
This was my third Litttle Caesar Pizza Bowl and like the previous two it was a very competitive and entertaining game. I thought WMU was going to get blown away in second half but they fought and dispite the gut wrenching turn overs that stopped drives, they rose above them and gavbe themselves a chance to win in last two minutes only to have the turn over but bite them again. I don't know who has been responsible for picking teams but they have done an excellent job last three years. As a final note, I really liked the earlier start time for the game (430pm). Keep it an afternoon game and I will probably be back next year.
