My first concert experience was back at Xcel Energy Center in 2011 during the "A Thousand Suns World Tour". Easily the most memorable experience of my life.

Hands down the greatest performance’s
I have the privilege of being able to say that I was able to attend the original Project Revolution way back over a decade ago when I was a teenager. This was my first ever concert ever and I went with 1 best friend and ended up running into like 8 of my other best friends in the parking lot concert stage about an hour into the show starting when Hawethorn heights and Atreyu played! I then got to see Chris Cornell with Soundgarden show 25,000 at Jiffy Lube Live (including me in the pit at the main stage) how you open for a headliner.. it was amazing. Then Linkin Park started playing and Chester was right in front of me several times and I couldn’t believe what kind of stage presence I was seeing! He was amazing and hit every single note! Mike Shinoda was freaking awesome and he shook my hand! It was hands down the greatest day of my teenage life! I saw L.P 2 more times before the bands loss of Chester that broke my heart. I miss your concerts Mike. I wish you and the band would get together and persevere. Chester would love it if the show went on. Think about Queen, and Avenged Sevenfold, they persevere through the hard times! We would all come to see you again. You’re a great frontman!

Words couldn’t describe the energy, respect and flat out love that was pulsating through the entire crowd. Strangers came together to honor a man that touched all of their lives and it was extremely moving. Linkin Park and guests put on a great show that will be forever burned into my memory. I truly believe Chester would be proud of his band mates, guests and fans who made this night special not only for him but his family. Long live Linkin Park but most of all long live Chester.

This concert was an incredible tribute to and celebration of Chester Bennington's career and life. Mike Shinoda was an awesome host who set the stage for love and gratitude and appreciation of Chester. My daughter and L were crying, laughing, singing, and rocking! This experience was well worth the trip from NH to CA. Thank you Linkin Park and friends for allowing us to share these moments with you.

With the release of Living Things in 2012, unflagging rap rock pioneers Linkin Park landed their fourth consecutive No. 1 on the Billboard 200, quickly following up in 2013 with Recharged, a remix album of the release featuring productions by Steve Aoki and KillSonik. The band's increasingly dance-oriented sound was reflected on their 2013 tour dates, which saw Aoki appearing alongside the band in a series of high-energy performances anchored by Aoki's remix of their latest single "A Light That Never Comes." The band's 2000 debut Hybrid Theory was an overnight success, becoming the top-selling album of 2001 and earning the band their first Grammy for single "Crawling." 2003 follow-up Meteora proved an even bigger success, peaking at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and spawning four No. 1 singles including fan favorites "Faint" and "Numb." The subsequent Meteora World Tour generated millions in ticket sales, firmly cementing the band's ongoing presence at the top of festival bills. In 2013, lead singer Chester Bennington announced his replacement of Scott Weiland as lead singer of '90s alternative icons Stone Temple Pilots, but fans can rest assured – Linkin Park has announced plans to release their sixth studio album with Bennington in 2014, and will perform their debut album Hybrid Theory in full at the 2014 Download Festival.
