About

LIKE A STORM ON TOUR:

Heavy-hitting New Zealand rockers Like a Storm have been making waves overseas with their muscular sound and high-octane performances. Brothers Chris, Matt, and Kent Brooks bring an undeniable chemistry to the stage, consistently thrilling audiences at their live shows with headbang-inducing thrashers like "Just Save Me" and "Love the Way You Hate Me". From their long hair and glammed-up style to their searing guitar riffs and blistering drums, Like a Storm deliver a visually and sonically unforgettable concert experience on tour.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Like a Storm was formed in 2005 after brothers Chris, Kent, and Matt Brooks first jammed together in their native New Zealand. They instantly realized their unique chemistry, and after some deliberation they moved the band to Vancouver to begin work on their first album. That album, The End of the Beginning, was released in 2009, generating significant buzz in hard rock circles and landing the band on tour with Creed. They continued their rise in 2010 with the popular single "Chemical Infatuation", which quickly became a live favorite on the band's tours with Shinedown and Puddle of Mudd. Their leave-nothing-behind performances on the road paid off -- in 2011 they were voted Tunelab's "Most Fan-Friendly Band".  Following the 2012 release of their sophomore album Chaos Theory, the band undertook an acoustic tour as well another stint on the road with Creed. They continued to generate buzz in 2014 with their third album Awaken the Fire, treating fans to cuts from the release on a string of unforgettable tour dates with fellow rockers Otherwise.

    Fire-Storm tour

    by fregeo01 on 7/29/19Chameleon Club - Lancaster

Getting to see Through Fire, Like a Storm, Stitched Up Heart & Wilson at the Chameleon Club was an amazing time. The venue is awesome, the bands were all fantastic. When the bands come around again, I'll be there.

    Great live band

by Ashley on 2/26/19Amsterdam Bar & Hall - St Paul

Like A Storm is a very energetic hard rock band. They are more about the music than the theatrics, although there are some fun extra highlights to the stage. They are highly interactive with the crowd and occasionally very funny! The guys, themselves, are very kind and generous. I would suggest you see them. Did I mention 3 of them are from New Zealand and have adorable accents?

    Amazing show!

    by M. H. on 2/18/19Smiling Moose - Pittsburgh

What a great experience! Like a Storm put on an awesome acoustic show. Since I've seen them before, I was really looking forward to their show and they definitely didn't disappoint! Can't wait to see them again. Royal Tusk and Afterlife put on great shows as well. I'd definitely go see both of those bands again!

    Best Band Around

by Krmit313 on 2/13/19The Wonder Bar - Asbury Park

Great intimate venue with a really good sound system. All three bands( Afterlife, Royal Tusk, Like A Storm) put on amazing performances. The guys from Like A Storm and the other bands were super friendly as always. Can't wait for them to come back around.

    Loved IT

by Ash on 2/4/19The Cambridge Room at House Of Blues - Dallas

Small room, but perfect for them. The band was having such a great time! They engage with their fans on personal level. They gave an awesome performance even when Chris Brooks came out into the crowd during Love the Way You Hate Me. I love these guys and saw them at Shinedown and Godsmack. They were better than Shinedown at the concert. I will see them as many times as I can..

Absolutely dope! They don’t get here very often. Could listened to them indefinitely! Too bad the show overlapped with jj grey and Mofro.
