    An incredible weekend!

by whoameli on 12/15/18Downtown Las Vegas - Las Vegas

There are no words to describe my experience this weekend. I literally had the time of my life. The line up was amazingly great. Everyone performed so amazing. Even if you watched someone that you didnt know so well perform, you still had tons of fun. Not only was the music phenomenal, the art and food were great! I couldn't have aaked for a greater weekend. All my expectations were met.

    2014LIBLas Vegas

by KKDancer on 12/10/14Downtown Las Vegas - Las Vegas

This year's festival was great in many ways. Great lineup, bettter outlay of festival grounds, easier entry/exodus, festival felt safe and secure to attend. Loved the Dancetronics stage and the fire performers there. Loved the little troupe of roaming Lionel Ritchie pusher girls (my term of endearment for the conga train/line) I am exceedingly disappointed in the arrangements you made for the speakerseries. You had that whole building to use to make room for seating for the speaker series. IT was wasted, and the lines for being able to get to attend the series were impossible. Limiting that was a mistake. And it was excessively disappointing to not be able to see Pussy Riot present. I'm still not over missing that opportunity because of poor planning on the part of festival producers. Please, do better next year. Recycling worked this year, and that was truly thrilling! You did a great job recovering from the garbage/recycling debacle of 2013. Nice work, great improvement!

LIfe is Beautiful Festival - Does it again

by PartyGirl2013 on 11/11/14Downtown Las Vegas - Las Vegas

2nd year of festival. The layout of the festival was better than in the first year. Better seating for the food venues, more diversity in food and beverages, etc. Awesome diversity of acts Panic at the Disco, Echosmith, Broken Bells, Fitz and Tantrums, Neon Trees, OK Go, St Lucia, St. Paul and Broken Bones, Catfish and Bottleman, and many more....

    Best Festival EVER

by mfruth on 11/6/14Downtown Las Vegas - Las Vegas

Forget about Coachella, people. It's hot, there are a lot of people there, and you have to camp. LIB is where it's at. You can stay at teh Golden Nugget, walk in and out of the festival if you don't want to pay for expensive beer, and the weather is fantastic. The food here is incredible. The chefs really outdo themselves every year. The art is fantastic. It is apparent how hard the artists work. Lastly, the music. INCREDIBLE. The Foo Fighters closed the festival this year and I couldn't be happier. They are my favorite band and they nailed that show! Closed LIB and changed my life forever.

An event that I am greatful to see!

by BuckeyeRueny on 11/5/14Downtown Las Vegas - Las Vegas

It is hard to compare the first life is beautiful to the second yr but, overall, 2014 was better in many ways. I feel like the event staff listened to the reviews from 2013 and took action to make things better. The 3 days was better than having 2. The musical acts were separated more and strategically timed so that you may not miss as much. I love the fact that they brought in over 70,000 sq ft of grass. OMG that made a heck of a difference and to sit and be right in front of one of the stages, on grass, made it so relaxing. More seating with the swings available, more tables and chairs, the separation of the food was also a brilliant idea. That way i could try something from one side when I was near one stage, than when I moved to the other stage I could try something different from that area. With adding more people, they say about 60,000 came in 2013, and expected 90,000 for 2014, it did feel like the people just treated it like any other festival, where the 2013 first yr, it was special to be apart of a new experience. Be a part of something different. More people were cheerful to each other and interactive in the 2013. So for 2015, it will be difficult to come up with new interactions for people to interact with instead of just walk briskfully by each other to go see the next musician. Especially when this festival will continue to grow over 100,000 attendees for next yr. But not much you can do but enjoy every moment and can't wait til 2015!
