    Libera is sublime perfection!

by nicknameisexasperating on 4/13/15Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

An item on my bucket list: a live performance of Libera. Extremely saifying and, quite frankly, an emotional experience. The selection of song included many of their standards and a few new ones. The flow of the setlist was well organized. Interlude presentations by the performers were informative, added to the charm and helped provide transition between selections. The boys were well polished and very professional. Their love of singing was always apparent. The autograph line following the performance was an unexpected pleasure. Chatting with the highly personable boys greatly added to the oveall experience. Greater attention to "theatre values" such as placement of director, lighting and sound would have improved experience. The size of the audience was disappointing. Perhaps better promotion is indicated?

    Amazing Grace Libera

by InWinston on 4/13/15Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

My first live concert for this exceptional boys choir out of London. very unique style and fantastic arrangements of classical pieces and traditional choral pieces. The kids are so incredibly well behaved, so outgoing for their very young age and so cut...I mean handsome. Lot of beautiful music and indelible memories. Great to see previous choir members still working and being part of Libera. (Josh, Sam, Steven, Jonathan...WOW!).

We thoroughly enjoyed Libera. Fantastic group which was accompanied by the Atlanta Symphony which were also superb! Excellent sound & lighting crew. This group helped to make the celebration of our 45th anniversary very memorable. Highly recommend everyone to see this group. They are unforgettable!

The voices of the angels in Atlanta!

by Doberman25 on 4/13/15Atlanta Symphony Hall - Atlanta

Amazing choral group. The program was very complete going from religious classic songs to modern alternative tunes. The voices are amazing, each boy is really talented. I'll never forget them.

    Libera was amazing!

by Liberafanpa on 4/10/15Wilbur Theatre - Boston

The boys from Libera did it again by providing an unforgettable performance. If you missed the concert, you can still see and listen to them by purchasing their DVDs and CDs. The meet and greet was an awesome chance to talk to the singers one on one. Hint: Don't miss the next chance you get to see a live performance.

Libera, Please Come Back to Boston Soon

    by JAK10 on 4/7/15Wilbur Theatre - Boston

As they elevate your mind and spirit, the Libera choristers gain possession of every cell of your being. The beautiful simplicity of their lyrics transports you to a realm that seems to transcend human existence. Because the dedication and commitment of Libera is unconditional and an end in itself, the group truly gives us a sense of deliverance. No other chorister group, including the Vienna Boys choir, achieves such a rare unity with their music, with their fellow choristers and with their audience. In songs like "Salva Me", "Sanctus" and "Going Home", the tone of yearning has such richness and depth that we experience the "is-ness" of what it means to be a human being; time seems to stand still and the only thing central to our existence during these moments is the music we are embracing. I was pleased to see that the evening was not as Americanized as it was on PBS. I love this group's medieval classicism. If I want to hear American songs I'll go to the Boston Pops or attend my school's musicals. I just want to hear more of that wonderfully haunting blend of secular and sacred music. Thank you, Libera, for all your hard work and for snatching the eternal out of the desperately fleeting thing we call life.
