While it was a small crowd, it made it possible to get a close up view of the awesome players of the past. It was so much fun to watch the players have such a good time together and they were all smiles. The only drawback was that because of the small crowd, the concession options were pretty dismal.
having grown up at Candlestick - first with my dad being a Giants season ticket holder and then in my adult years becoming a season ticket holder for the 49ers..it was a very nice send off to experience this Legends game!
We loved it. We took our 7 year old grandson and our daughter and her boyfriend. We drove down from Montana. Well worth the trip. Seeing the great Joe Montana play again was so fun. And Jerry Rice coming out doing back flips really impressed my grandson. We did expect more things to buy. I was disappointed in that. I wanted a poster to frame for my grandson. Was also hoping for autographs, but there were none. They should have gotten the word out more, they could have filled that place up.
The best event ever!. It was unforgettable!! I hope they will make another event like this one.
My friends and I had an amazing time seeing all the hall of fame players participate in a charity event. Growing up watching the 49ers play every week was a huge family event so to see them in action as an adult felt like we were honoring our parents and childhood. I hope this can become an annual event.
This Event was average, kind of hang loose and enjoy the last game. and take pictures and say farewell to this old candlestick park.
Amazing to see NFL football legends all in one spot to play final game. If your team has a chance to do this, def go!
Had an awesome time!! Wouldn't have missed it for anything, seeing Montana, Young and Garcia play as quarterbacks throwing passes to Rice and others... Can't even describe it!! I would have given it 5 stars BUT you could tell they were using minimal stuff there at candlestick. Also there was a game before with SF police vs fire that was never mentioned would've been nice to show up earlier than we did to catch a little of it, but it wasn't advertised.
What a great game! It was so fun to see all of the Legends playing a fun game of flag football. The sign said "Never Before - Never Again" but I really hope they do it again sometime!
Never had the chance to see joe play and even though it was flag football it was still fun to watch. I felt the actual competition was at a higher level than a pro bowl game. There were many great plays made by a lot of different players so it brought back a lot of memories. I may not get a chance to see most of these guys play ever again . This event should be an annual event.
