The performance before the intermission was engaging and entertaining. The drum solo on Moby Dick was really quite good and enjoyable. Then... After intermission the band was disjointed and lackluster. We joked about what they may have ingested at halftime because they were not good at all. Slowly they came back to entertaining, however, the sound mix was off all night long. (Hard to put that on the stage performers.) There were times when one guitar was either hard to hear or overwhelming. Same for the vocals. Sometimes the singer's voice was drowned-out entirely and others it was loud enough to hurt ear drums. This was my first time to see Led Zepagain and I was excited. Truly looking forward to the experience based on reviews I'd seen. Probably not going to do that again. Zeppelin is an icon that is impossible to replicate, I get that. I've seen other tribute bands who I would pay, and will, to see again. Not so with this group. Thanks for an ok night out but don't expect to see me in the audience again.
