Terrible show, plagiarism at its worst

by showmeart on 12/7/10GPRC - Grande Prairie

This show was a collection of stolen songs, characters, cliche effects and fart jokes. Lots of cheap overdone tricks to get little kids hyped up, like well-known pop songs lipsinked with disco balls and smoke machines, but nothing of any substance or value to the children. No "art" to be exposed to, no lesson to be learned... not even a corny "moral to the story". Blatantly plagiarizing characters from Disney and Nichelodion, the story revolves around Ariel (yes, the Little Mermaid) who ventures onto land to find this boy whose picture she saw when he dropped his hologram iphone (odd plug) into the water. Assisted by Spongebob Squarepants and his starfish sidekick they find the boy and awaken him from a spell by farting in his face. "Arts and Education"? I think not

Christmas Under the Sea was awesome

by three1 on 12/6/10Northern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium - Edmonton

This was a very well done play geared to not only the children but it was very entertaining for the adults as well. The people that volunteered to act in the play and the ones in the background who wrote the play, producers, costum makers etc should all be congratulated for a job well done.
