    OUTSTANDING!

    Lavay has been a favorite for 20 years. Enjoyed her performances in San Francisco in the '90's. It was such a treat to see her after so many years. We both agreed that we hadn't changed a bit.

    Lavay and Rhumba Bums kicked serious butt!

    Lavay Smith and Her Red Hot Skillet Lickers and Steve Lucky and the Rhumba Bums was a fabulous show! Each musician in each band really set it out.......SO glad I made it!!!

    Lavay Only So So

    The venue was great, the band was great but Lavay only performed a couple of song and then turned it over to the rest while she disappeared from the stage.

    Lavay seemed out of sync w her band in energy, she did make all her marks lyric wise. The band was great, but she was not as dynamic as expected. Especially coming on stage after Steve Lucky and the Rumba Bums, as the opening band-Carmen Gattat was fabulous. Hard to compare two groups, but the difference was noticed. Lavay's voice was solid and great to listen to, overall. I would come again t see her band. Fun to hear 'Big Bone' and Freddy Hughes.
