Lauren Alaina on Tour

When she auditioned a cappella for the 2011 season of American Idol, Lauren Alaina's voice made J.Lo cry. In truth, that emotive pop-country coo is enough to power an entire concert today, but the Georgia singer gives audiences that and more. Backed by a lean and mean band, Alaina moves between upbeat sing-alongs full of Southern shout-outs (from Jason Aldean to John Deere) and heartfelt autobiographical ballads that often end with the artist shedding a few tears herself. It's no wonder that after winning hearts (and second place) on Idol, Alaina went on to tour with the likes of Alan Jackson, Blake Shelton, Martina McBride and Luke Bryan. Her music supports its old twang with new tech, and her knack for classic storytelling is infused with modern messages of empowerment, acceptance and self-love.

Lauren Alaina in Concert

It's tempting to imagine Alaina as the small-town girl who appears in her 2011 song "Growing Her Wings," locked in a bedroom and dreaming of bigger things. But in truth, this Rossville, Georgia, native took flight at a very young age. She began singing at three and did so pretty much anywhere she could: churches, restaurants, karaoke, family gatherings and, by age eight, talent shows. She won one after another between trips to perform in Nashville, so it shouldn't have been a surprise to anyone who knew her that, as a teen, Alaina would step away from serving pizza at CiCi's to try out for Idol. Though she was the Season 10 runner-up, she scored big with a Mercury Nashville record deal, then repaid the favor with her first LP, 2011's Wildflower, the best-selling debut from a female country star since 2006. While that set featured big, crisp production, it was fueled by laid-back grooves, driving Southern rock and the occasional banjo strum. Alaina's long-awaited follow-up, 2016's Road Less Traveled, carried that same feeling forward but with more modern flourishes (producer busbee is as much known for his work with Shakira as Maren Morris). The songs also brought new insight into Alaina's personal life, as she sang about family struggles, romantic troubles and, most importantly, making it to the other side.

I got my money's worth and thensome. Lauren Alaina gave an awesome performance! She was very interactive with her audience, autographed items while she sang, posed in the audience selfies...while singing, and kept us on our feet! I would love to see her again!! She had the cutest personality!

    Morongo Stinks

by Jim on 9/28/22Morongo Casino Resort and Spa - Cabazon

Bought tickets with reserved seats only to be advised when entering “open seating” with no explanation of why! Seats were being sold just before showtime for $12 while I paid over $50. Lauren was terrific but Morongo stinks

She was absolutely amazing… She really played to the audience and was so cute. I’ve been wanting to see her for quite some time, and this was a perfect venue close to home. I love the way she talked back-and-forth to the audience while she was performing her songs and telling a little bit of her personal history and how she came about writing them as well. Can’t wait to see her again

    AMAZING INTIMATE SHOW!!!

by Rick Kaz on 9/27/22Morongo Casino Resort and Spa - Cabazon

Lauran Alaina put on an amazing, intimate show. I love how she engaged the audience and shared the stories behind many of her songs. Her personality really came through in her interactions with the audience and her vocal performance was spot on! She did not need an elaborate stage setup to entertain the audience. I definitely want to see her in concert again!

    Amazing 🤩

by Angela on 8/7/22TempleLive Wichita - Wichita

This was my 3rd time and my daughter's 2nd time seeing Lauren Alaina in concert. She's been beautiful and spectacular every time. This was the first time seeing her at a small venue and it was intimate and so much fun! My 10 year old daughter held her hand, danced with her, and got an autograph. The last time she saw her was at Intrust Bank Arena and she held her hand, so the autograph was the ultimate goal. I would see her a million more times in concert! She never disappoints!

Terrific music in a venue with a more ‘intimate’ experience

by Sharon R on 8/7/22TempleLive Wichita - Wichita

Lauren Alaina was fantastic! Energy, connecting/interacting with the audience, set list choices, sound balance were all right on point. Two opening bands were good, but volume on instruments made it difficult to understand the vocal lyrics, which I believe is what connects you to a song and, therefore, the band. When artists are lesser known, not all of the audience is going to know their songs. Give us the ability to connect with them so that we want to keep listening to them after the concert is over. That’s a win for everyone! This was our first time in this venue and we enjoyed they more intimate feel.
