    The Long Goodbye

by Pete on 3/27/19The Theater at MGM National Harbor - National Harbor

My tickets were great. The event was great for only some. First of all the event time was very confusing. Though the tickets said the event began at 5:00pm, I wandered in early at 4:00p.m. to find that a fight was already underway. Soon that concluded and there was another fight and another and another and another and another. I remained in the auditorium until the last fight was over...it was almost 1am! I understand that the Peterson fight was going to be televised and that event (with undercard) began at 8:00p.m.....after that ended the Overcards kept interested fans like me there until the early morning hour. There was no available program handed out so people like me had no idea what they were getting into. The good news is that well over 95% of the crowd left after the Main Event so boxing fans like me who did not have to work the next morning were able to secure an "upgraded" seat and enjoy the show even more. For the price and the 12 matches give or take that I saw (I lost count!) it was a bargain. For the "not knowing when this is supposed to end," plus the earlier than the ticket said beginning), I've got to knock the experience down to a three.

    Long day

by D.K. on 3/27/19The Theater at MGM National Harbor - National Harbor

Great venue overall and most of the seats had a good view. If you were too low on the lower level it actually was harder to see due to the ring being propped up. However, the main issue was there were too many fights booked before the main event. Fight we went to see had the boxer warming up at 530 but didn’t end up fighting until after the main event took place. This was roughly around 1230 and I’ve never seen post main event fights take place. Thanks.

Wish I knew who was fighting before Peterson

    by WhoDatOne2 on 1/28/14DC Armory - Washington

Seats were fine. I wish a schedule was handed out so I could keep up with who the fighters were in the other matches before the main event.

    It was ok

    by Bindi83 on 1/28/14DC Armory - Washington

The co main events (Charlo-Rosado/Peterson-Jean) were both good fights. The undercards were lacking, there was no parking, concessions were awful, and the Armory is not a good setup for a boxing event. The event staff did a food job of keeping order. I paid $250 for my ringside seat and I have to say overall or wasn't worth $250. There weren't even any big screens there. Felt like a very low budget event with big event ticket prices. At most the tickets should've been $125. Golden boy needs to do a better job with their Washington, D.C. Events.

Great fight and the fans were very supportive. Dc should have more championship boxing events in the near future.
