Born in Upstate New York, Colleen Martin, a.k.a. Lady Starlight, moved to the city in 2001 and immersed herself in Manhattan's night life. There, she had a fateful run-in with Lady Gaga at a party that resulted in the duo's longstanding collaboration. As the hosts of notorious club kid party "New York Street Revival and Trash Dance," Gaga and Starlight earned a reputation as outrageous performers, thrilling crowds by lighting hairspray cans on fire and go-go dancing with with abandon.
