We attended the Kings of Swing show in Daytona Beach...it was very entertaining! The orchestra was great and the singers were very good. They really captured the mood & sounds of the Frank Sinatra / Dean Martin music and banter. The house was not packed, but I suspect that was only because the ticket prices were a little too high for this type of show.
The band was remarkable. Was surprised of the youth in the band. Very talented. Was disappointed that the area didn't support this function better. The quality of this type of music is going to be lost in the next generation if it isn't better supported, that was why we were pleased with the number of young people in the band. Disappointed in no encore
Concert was just ok...I would not pay the $50+ per ticket to attend another Kings of Swing performance.
