BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Formed in 1999 by Canadian musician Arish Ahmad Khan, King Khan and the Shrines got an early popularity boost from their frontman's over-the-top antics at the band's live shows. They made their album debut in 2000 with Spread Your Love Like Peanut Butter, supporting the album with extensive touring that further established their reputation as a powerhouse live act. Critically acclaimed albums like Mr. Supernatural (2004) and The Supreme Genius of King Khan and the Shrines (2008) followed, as the band continued to generate buzz with their spectacular live shows. Riding high on the 2013 release of Idle No More, the band will deliver another series of epic performances on the latest tour.
