    Disappointed

by NJG on 3/6/23Paramount Theatre - Seattle

I loved the performance, as much as I could see of it, which was not a lot from my 13th row orchestra seat! What a disappointment to miss all the dance moves, because there was no space for me to see more than a sliver of the stage between either side of the people sitting in front of me. I believe the Paramount is not an appropriate venue for dance performances, especially at the high cost of tickets.

Wow Wow Wow! Nothing Compares #Precision

by Once Upon a Dance on 3/4/23Paramount Theatre - Seattle

Kidd Pivot is the most innovative, refined company in my opinion. This was precise dance theater from the most talented dancers one can imagine. Original, compelling, thought-provoking work performed with perfection from an exquisite cast - my highest praise.

    Absolutely incredible

    by Ch2254 on 3/26/18Moore Theatre - Seattle

Kidd Pivot and electric company theater is a must see. Betroffenheit was an enthralling experience, a completely well rounded show, well written, amazing choreography and dancers, potent sound score and well produced. This show sticks with you

    novel and captivating

by shank on 7/18/17DPAC - Durham Performing Arts Center - Durham

I've never seen anything like this--a play performed as a dance. The first act was about 70 minutes and I would have sworn only about 45 minutes had passed. The performance was captivating. I am REALLY glad I read the background story first, though. Otherwise, I would have been lost.

    Amazing Company"!!!

by rrodrigu on 2/28/11Royce Hall - UCLA - Los Angeles

One of the best companies I've seen....and I've seen a lot of dance concerts. The only drawback: being late and being seated in the back with other late comers. Lots of movement, great technique, slightly repetitive choreography but the first few pieces were stunning. Can't wait to see what else this company does.

    Great Movement; Too Minimal Story

by fairrox on 2/27/11Royce Hall - UCLA - Los Angeles

Enjoyed the dancing very much. Made me want to pursue this passion. But I found the minimalist staging and storylines boring after a while. The production showed imagination overall providing interpretive dance to 'seemingly white noise'. But, I found this boring after a few vignettes.

Lost Action was, by far, one of the best and most engrossing dance performances I have ever seen. Thank you Crystal Pite for restoring my faith in modern dance. I loved it.
