    Amazing!

by Ozmatazz on 1/29/14Cobb's Comedy Club - San Francisco

Key and Peele were amazing! They delivered on every level, with impromptu bits, recorded skits, Q and A, and just plain fun. They had a great rapport with the audience, and seemed to be having as much fun as we were!

    High hopes....

by Massieh on 7/24/13Balboa Theatre - San Diego

I had really high hopes for this show. I thought maybe they would top any other comedy show I have seen all year....Nope. The show was less than an hour and half of it was pre-recorded videos. I didn't expect them to be hit or miss...This was a miss. Im still a big fan....Of the on air stuff but live is not the way for them.

    Loved it but TOO SHORT

by Sidekix on 7/24/13Balboa Theater - San Diego

Like several other reviews of this performance, we felt the show was too short. We drove from Sacramento to see this show, and as much as I love these guys, and what we did see was great, we were surprised and a little disappointed that it was over so soon.

    Key and Peele too short!

by Lordu on 7/23/13Balboa Theatre - San Diego

They were funny but it only lasted about an hour and half the show they promoted their upcoming season. It was a bit disappointing!

    horrible..what a ripoff

by SDCHILL on 7/23/13Balboa Theatre - San Diego

Key&Peele were biggest disapointment ever...biggest ripoff of a faithful audience. Started late and ended early and never revisited favorite skits/characters .only actually performed 20 minutes because the other 20 minutes of the short 40 minutes show was taken up with bogus videos of skits for season 3 of their TV show. The videos were mildly amusing but the acoustics in the theater did not lend itself to watching a video. Last time for us with those rip off artists.

    Too short

by randomchick on 7/23/13Balboa Theatre - San Diego

It was a fun and very affordable event . It was just tooo short. Exactly 1 hour. Kinda happy it was cheap.

Key & Peele are hilarious, but...

by Brandoza1 on 7/23/13Balboa Theatre - San Diego

... most of the show was video clips, and them recreating upcoming skits live on stage. While the footage and live show made me laugh straight from the belly, it felt very much like a "Comic-Con" preview of Season 3. And for me to pay $40 to see stuff that I will ultimately see on TV and Youtube for free seems a little odd. That being said, their improv scenes brought us to tears, and their interaction with the audience is spot on!

    Left wanting more

by jthorn0 on 7/23/13Balboa Theatre - San Diego

I love the Key and Peele show and was excited to get a sneak peak at the new season. I was pretty disappointed that it only lasted an hour - for $45 that is a little much. I was surprised that there was no warm-up comedian to get things going, something pretty standard at a comedy show. The best part was the improv they did with audience participation. If they had done 3 or 4 more segments like that, it would've bumped me to 4 or 5 stars. Bottom line - loved the show, had lots of laughs, but left feeling like they could've done more to give me my money's worth.

    half assed

by anitadick on 7/23/13Balboa Theatre - San Diego

I was so excited to see them live; I love tv show. Their live performance was clips from the new show w/ a few bits and improv exercises sprinkled throughout. Sad to say it was a half assed show.
