Combining his raspy flows with soulful crooning on heavy hitters like "Satellites" and "Arm & Hammer", Gates has a finesse that keeps fans coming back for more. Back on tour, Gates and his hype men will have ticket buyers getting down all night at his upcoming shows.

Kevin Gates, born Kevin Gilyard, grew up on the streets of Louisiana finding solace in music by penning lyrics at a young age. After spending years honing his craft, Gates released his debut mixtape Pick Of Da Litter in 2007. Although it wasn't an initial hit, the album sparked several more releases and attracted attention from big-time artists like Lil' Wayne. The up-and-coming rapper has been on the rise ever since, collaborating with Wiz Khalifa and Juicy J on his 2013 mixtape Stranger Than Fiction and having music featured on Rolling Stone's 100 Best Songs of 2013 list. With his 2014 album By Any Means and an upcoming tour in the works, Gates will have eager ticket buyers shakin' it to his hot rap jams.
Concert started 3 hours after original schedule time & it only lasted about an hour and a half. The general admission tickets were cheap but it was for a reason. I wish Kevin gave a little more! đ©
I know Kevin gates along with other entertainers give us all they can but to show up 3 hrs late to only preform one hour on a Thursday night was crazy. There was ppl who traveled to see him that didnât even stay because of the lack of crowd control.
This is a inside event. Good atmosphere, great performance by kevin gates.

He barely sang. Was 45 minutes late for concert. Didn't feel got money's worth.

I loved the concert venue. However, Kevin Gates didn't show up until almost 10:20 at a show that started at 8pm. I know openers usually take a while but I didn't expect the main act to be over 2 hours late. Otherwise the music was good.
It was an experience to say the least. He definitely is interactive with the crowd and stuck to his word about giving us an experience we wouldnât forget.
Doors opened up at 7pm, Kevin Gates didnât come out until 10pm. No opener. DJ Chose came out briefly (under 30 min) and they continued to look the same soundtrack while waiting. Kevin Gates finally came out and was absolutely amazing until his music blew the speakers and needed up waiting four hours to see Kevin for only one hour
It was amazing! And look forward to going to another concert to see him!
