    Went for son's 13th birthday

by WRea on 1/14/13Freedom Hall - Louisville

This was our first time at an indoor lacrosse game. We took 5 boys for my son's 13th birthday. Not sure who had more fun, my husband or the kids. Everyone had a blast! Even the kids who don't play lacrosse dug it. Highly recommend!

Another Great Game In Stickhorse History

    by DiZ72 on 3/19/12Freedom Hall - Louisville

The venue seems to be taking criticisms well, as minor adjustments are made each week to make for a better program. The scoreboard better reflected the penalty periods, whereas some games before they had been lax in those duties. The request a song for in game play was a nice addition however my friend and I had no response from the system this game in comparison to last game's autoreply confirmation. Sometimes the Request line decided to play a mash-up instead of the original request but most mashups were acceptable. The game was awesome, being the closest game for Kentucky. The Dutchman are an awesome team and I can't wait to watch our meeting next season. Players got heated in the game but kept mostly composed until the last period throw-down. My only negative had nothing to do with the venue, but instead the children sitting in the row in front of me. I understand our desires to motivate our team and trash talk the opponents, however there language and behavior was terrible. Flipping off refs and yelling obscenities at the opposing goalie and players is terrible behavior, especially since there had been young children in our area. At least there were until the parents got fed up with the offenders and left to find seating elsewhere.

    Great Game, Better Experience

    by DiZ72 on 2/6/12Freedom Hall - Louisville

Another awesome game played by the Stickhorses, with Jersey having more time to have practice as a team. Thus making the game less of blow-out. The venue also provided more musical interludes with more upbeat game-friendly music. There was some error in production as the half-time minors took up, probably more time than they were suppose to, reducing the number of half-time shenanigans as well as pushing one "game" into someone's time-out called. Also I became confused as penalties were being called because they did not always appear up in the penalty area of the score board. I remember almost all the penalties being represented on the board at the last game. The only other concern is lack of seat enforcement. I'm aware that the house was not full, but it upsets me that people are hopping seats all through the game. There's a 10$ difference between upper level and glass seats and large groups tend to go wherever they pleased after the first period was over. If there is no control now, there will be less when this event becomes more popular.

Kentucky Stickhorses are a blast to watch!

by lacrossenewbie on 1/28/12Freedom Hall - Louisville

Watching a semi-pro lacrosse game was so much fun! The Kentucky Stickhorses put on a great show - not only was the game itself really enjoyable and exciting, but special touches like having the players enter the field in a cloud of smoke, the Stickhorses cheerleaders and mascot, and the player meet-and-greet after the game made it a great night. I hope this team and this sport continue to take off and establish a real fan base in Louisville. It's another great option for a sports night out with the family.

    Awesome Stick Horse game

by Triplesticks on 1/23/12Freedom Hall - Louisville

The Stick Horse team played very well. This was a very fun, entertaining and exciting game. My only criticism is the announcer does not know the game and there was way too much down-time between goals and quarters. Once the crew gets the bugs out, this will be an awesome event. The team is there and plays well...just work out the bugs in the production and this will be an awesome event.

    Stickhorses rocked that season Opener

    by DiZ72 on 1/23/12Freedom Hall - Louisville

My seats were much better than expected. I was able to see all the action very clearly and everything seemed to be set up well. The Stickhorses played a great game. The only complaint is the music that was being played through the last 10 minutes of the game. Some of the songs were slow and over played and just messed with the game flow.
