    Great seats!

by wjkess on 10/8/13Dix Stadium - Kent

While the game started off with rain, the skies cleared and we were able to enjoy our awesome seats! I would highly recommend these seats for anyone loving football!

The will call window did not have my tickets and I ended up sitting 25 rows behind where I should have been. The concession stand lines were very long and they ran out of water just after half time.

    KSU Football 2013 Home Opener-SWEET

by RebeccaH on 9/2/13Dix Stadium - Kent

The tickets were decently priced, but getting to the stadium was a nightmare, filled with many unnecessary detours. Parking was adequate, but getting out after the game was rather a conundrum due to insufficient traffic controllers. The food service was poor, as the lines were long, and items were constantly selling out. My 2 year old had a near meltdown as the patron in front of us purchased the last hot pretzel and laughed about it... that was the only thing she wanted. Luckily, as I was just about to walk away, the stand was re-supplied. That was a good turning point. Being allowed down onto the field for the amazing (best I've ever seen) fireworks show after the win was phenomenal, too!

    KSU Football

by CraziFan on 9/2/13Dix Stadium - Kent

Kent State tried to be good hosts and let the visitors win. But the Liberty Flames were the perfect guests and insisted that Kent win its opening game! The score of 17 to 10 does not begin to express the sloppiness of both teams. Dix Stadium was excellent, the fans appreciative and the fire works that followed the game were top notch! It was a great evening!
