    Nostalgia journey of 50’s & 60’s Music

by Patrick on 12/20/23NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

Saturday’s show at Westbury was a trip down memory lane for those who are in love with the great songs of the 50’s & 60’s. From the Demensions whose 1960 version of Judy Garland’s Over the Rainbow reminded us why it was the “song of the century “, to the King of Nostalgia Kenny Vance whose heartfelt crooning mixed with stories of his beloved Brooklyn closed the show; Long Island was left applauding on their feet

    Disappointed

by Scuds on 12/19/23NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

Hype was overrated. Dick Fox rest his soul always put on much better shows. The sound of cracking microphones resonated all show. Kenny Vance did not look good, like he was ailing. How those guys booked as the capris really thought they could be passed off as the capris is beyond me. Norman Fox was the best performer by far. No I’m not a friend or relative of his.

    GREAT SHOW!!!

by genea on 12/19/23NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

Kenny Vance was AWESOME as always, putting on a GREAT!! show. He was on for over one hour. The opening group called "Classic Sounds"singing Accapella put everyone in the mood for a fantastic show. Norman Fox sang "Tell Me Why"which is one of my favorite songs. The Mystics (Hushabye), the Capris (Theres a Moon Out Tonight), the Dimensions (Over the Rainbow) were also there performing. Wonderful show by LAR Entertainment

    Wonderful Performance

by Joan on 12/19/23NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed Kenny Vance and the Planotones. December 16th was my husband's birthday and he could not have had a better present. At the end of the performance, the group sang several beautiful songs that did not sound like doo wop!

    A Night To Remember

by Steve N on 12/19/23NYCB Theatre at Westbury - Westbury

To say that Kenny and the Planotones are the best would be an understatement. I have followed this group for at least 30 years and all I could say is they have always impressed me as a class act and wonderful performers. Kenny, although he lost some of his high pitch, voice, still remains an all-time great. My wife and I were so happy that we got to see him once again.

Never Fails to Continue to Amaze

by Dee on 6/15/23Bergen Performing Arts Center - Englewood

We have seen Kenny Vance & many times. Our first experience was at the Ocean Grove Grand Auditorium--we were hooked! He is the ultimate performer/entertainer. We have "introduced" him to many friends who became instant followers. May the music live forever!
