    Gamblers last stand

by 1979Bill on 12/20/17Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

I thought the show was good and entertaining considering Kenny can just about walk but he was funny throu out the show joking several times about his age and ailments. His career story of how he started in the business was interesting and he played some of his old songs with the original groups he was in. I thought the show was good but sad to see that Kenny is now half the man he once was.

    Terrible

by Vern380 on 12/19/17Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

I’ve always liked Kenny Rogers so was expecting a good show. He was obviously very frail, he could barely walk and nearly fell off his chair. He couldn’t seem to get the breath to sing. He could reach the low notes, the rest he couldn’t reach. His voice was also very gravelly and there was absolutely no expression on his face. It was very uncomfortable sitting there and witnessing this. I understand this was a farewell tour, but I feel the audience didn’t get the show they paid for.

It's time for the Gambler to fold 'em

by Oakdate2017 on 12/18/17Toyota Oakdale Theatre - Wallingford

We've loved Kenny since the beginning, so I am really sad to say that I wish we had skipped this show and relished the memories of previous performances. He has gone so far downhill- unable to remember lyrics, yawning incessantly, and not enough energy to sing a full song. And the set list was very disappointing- many random, non-traditional choices, and none of his signature Kenny/Dolly Christmas songs. He even sang "Islands in the Stream" solo, rather than having the "Dolly" stand-in complete the duet- very strange. The whole show was a very big bummer. Sorry!

    Disappointing on every level.

by ACConcertgoer14 on 12/15/17Golden Nugget - Atlantic City

We were hoping to hear his original Christmas songs. None were played and the ones he did sing were the cheesy ones. He struggled to sing the whole time in between calling in others to sing and his coughing fits. We have been to numerous concerts and this was by far the worst and the biggest waste of money. People actually walked out in the middle of the show so I know we weren’t alone.

Well reserved retirement if you love Kenny Go

by BWH1453 on 12/15/17Golden Nugget - Atlantic City

Kenny was good but He seemed tired and I know why this is his last time performing He forgot lyrics and didn't play enough songs. We have seen Him several times before and he was a lot better . We love all he has done as a performer through out His Career but for His Family and Friends I'm glad He is going to take his well received retirement. Thanks for all your music and movies Kenny

    Still glad I went

by Webbie55 on 12/14/17Sands Bethlehem Event Center - Bethlehem

Kenny is showing his age. He had a lot of help with his songs - Linda Davis and choir. He missed a few notes. That being said - still love him and glad that I went to the show. He gave it his best and for that I am thankful. If I'm that witty and an entertainer at 79, I'd be happy.
