I had the pleasure of seeing Kenny in Baltimore. Kenny, his band and back up singers were amazing!..I was truly impressed with Kenny’s amazing voice. I loved how he mixed his old classics, with his new music along with Christmas songs.. Loved the show
I had the pleasure of being at the Kenny Latimore concert. Kenny Lattimore definitely "Showed Up to Show Out". Everything was perfect, the back up singers were amazing, the band was awesome and the venue was perfect. Just a great evening.
If you ever get the Opportunity to see Kenny Latimer in concert. Do yourself a favor and Go. His Voice, performance, the background singers, musicians were amazing. For someone older. I rarely attend concerts these days. To me they are filled with a lot of excitement. But they miss the substance of musicians long ago. Who can just stand on the stage and command an audience with their voice. He can as the old school, would say. Can SANG. He did a tribute to Luther Vandross that was incredible. It was interesting to hear how he got his start. He went to school on a Musical Scholarship. Singing Opera. He can sing in many different languages. God bless him, his wife for allowing the time to give to us. A true musical, lyrical blessing. I couldn't say more.
Our seats were pretty good given we had never been to Ludlow Garage before. As for the actual concert itself I will say the brotha Kenny Lattimore can really sing. He put on a hell of a performance.

This was the first concert that my wife and I attended by Kenny Lattimore, and it was far better than we expected. My wife enjoys Boney James immensely and knew of the song they had collaborated on, ("Be Here", on Boney's "Solid"CD) but the fact that he was smooth as silk and shared his growth in music with his background growing from the "American Songbook"to his independent artistry was fabulous. We'll be looking for more dates with him in the future.
