About

KEKE WYATT IN CONCERT:

From her days as a young gospel singer to her current reign as one of R&B's most dynamic songstresses, Keke Wyatt has remained a confident and commanding vocalist and performer. Keke has treated fans to an inside look at her everyday life as the star of the reality TV series R&B Divas: Atlanta, and she continues to reveal her colorful personality -- and her stunning vocal skills -- every time she takes the stage to perform favorites like "Nothing in This World" and "Fall in Love". With a 2014 EP titled Ke'Ke making waves and a fourth studio album in the works, Keke is in top form and ready to dazzle on her highly anticipated upcoming tour dates.

BACKGROUND SNAPSHOT:

Keke Wyatt was born to an Indianapolis family with deep ties to gospel music. She began singing at age two, had her first performance at age five, and made her on-record debut on a gospel compilation at age 10. She scored her first hit in 2001 as the featured artist on Avant's "My First Love", a sultry slice of lovelorn neo-soul that cracked the Top 10 on the R&B chart and remained there for several weeks. The single earned her a deal with MCA records, and her 2001 debut album Soul Sista followed shortly after. The album landed at No. 5 on Billboard's Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, propelled by the hit single "Nothing in This World" -- another collaboration with Avant. She suffered a setback when two consecutive albums were shelved in the late '00s due to issues with her label, but she made a triumphant return in 2010 with her sophomore album Who Knew. In addition to her singing career, Keke has also become a beloved reality TV personality as the star of the hit show R&B Divas: Atlanta. A seasoned performer with a honey-toned voice, she continues to enchant ticket buyers on her can't-miss tours.

    Confused

    by M. J. on 8/7/22

My friends and I went to the concert to see mostly Keke and Musiq Soul Child. We were very disappointed to see how Keke was treated. Why would David Hollister performed for over an hour singing other artist music (what a mess) and Keke didn't even get 30 min and everyone knows she can sing this clown under the table. The band wasn't able to keep up, so she was escorted off stage for 10 min or so. When she returns, she song maybe 2 short songs. Keke is the reason WHY we attended at all. Dave Hollister was Booed when he performed, and I truly understand why!!! He should never or ever be given that much time to perform, I do understand why he only have 2 songs that are known. Musiq Soul Child didn't perform as long as Dave Hollister. My question is Why didn't DH open the concert and Keke came after him instead of the other way around?

Excellent, classy venue! The entire Truth Band were undeniably talented as musicians and singers; what a gift! KeKe is one of the most brilliantly soulful singers ever!

    Perfect voice, mediocre experience

by VT on 5/21/19VooDoo Lounge at Harrah's Casino North Kansas City - Kansas City

A little disappointed in my experience in seeing Keke Wyatt in concert. There were 3 opening acts her and one of them performed longer than she did. Show started at 8 and she came out at 11. Show ended about 11:30. She had no live band, no background singers, no visual. Just her and her song tracks. She also didn’t sing any song in its entirety. Don’t get me wrong her voice was amazing and she interacted with the floor crowd. I think I just expected a little more.

    Keke Wyatt

by Anonymous on 8/3/18Howard Theatre - Washington

Although I love this artist I feel like it was totally rude to make your fans wait over 3 hours to perform for only a short period of time and it wasn’t advertised as a benefit to raise awareness. I came to see her not every local performer in the DMV area. Yes I understand there’s always an opening act but it was overblown the crowd was restless waiting for her, people around me even left didn’t wait to stay around for the performance. I was overall disappointed, although she’s a great vocalist.

    The Worst!

    by Monie0303 on 8/3/18Howard Theatre - Washington

The absolute worst! The concert was suppose to start at 7pm, and the doors opened at 7:45pm. There were a lot of local acts that were clearly stalling after a while. Keke didn't come on stage until around 11:15pm and only stayed about 30 minutes on stage. On a good note, she sounded great as always! I am disappointed on how unprofessional and ghetto the event was. Very inconsiderate of the audience's time and money with this event. I won't ever waste my time and money to see her again!
